Dad,
If ever there
stood a better man,
although there
never will,
I'm sure he'd
never be as fun,
a s great or
such a thrill.
He wouldn't take
u s camping,
or for bike
rides at the park,
he'd neve r sing
us "Danny Boy",
or go swimming
in the dark.
He wouldn't let
us watch thunderstorms,
even though it
was too late,
and he'd never
give us what we want
without much of
a debate.
So dad, if ever
stood
a better man
than you
He'd never be as
kind, as sweet
or generous it's true.
