How Many Gundams?

Part #2: A New Pilot?

"Why would the Colonies send a new pilot and not tell us?"

"Because the two of you are fools.  What did you think?  They didn't tell you

guy's about each other."

Surprised, Heero turns around and points his gun at a girl with dark brown

hair.  It covers the right side of her face.  She looks about 15, but Heero

can't really tell.

Angrily Heero asks,"Who are you?"

"Follow me.  You must see Red Tiger."

Heero thinks,'Her voice.  It's tone.  For some reason I think I know her.  

Like the code that the notes were in.'

Duo:"How can we trust you?"

"Take my weapons.  But I will need them back soon, if you two want to live."

She hands Duo all of her weapons,(seven in all) and they head to the woods.

"So, who are you?"

"Duo, shut up!"

"All in good time my friend, all in good time."  To her disappointment this

only irritated Duo.

She stops them before a very small clearing.  "This is Red Tiger, my Gundam.

I also call it RT or Red.  RT is very different from your Gundams."

Duo:"How your's different?"  Heero elbow's him in the ribs.  "Owwww!  Heero!"

"I built mine myself."

In that emotionless voice of his,"Who are you?"

"Rose."

"Rose what?"

"Rose..."  She pauses, wondering what they will do when she tells them."Rose

J."

"J?!?!"

"Duo, calm down!"

"Heero, I know exactly how your Gundam works because, Doctor J is my

Grandfather."

"How can we trust you?"

"I can destroy your Gundams with the push of a button, and I can do it from

my Gundam."

"I don't think that you would."

"Duo, you don't even know me?  How can you doubt me?"

"Well, I only..."

"Duo, when in this universe will you shut that hole in your head?  Do I have

to add another?"

"Heero, I will handle it.  Meet me here tomorrow at 3:42.  Bring Trowa, and

call the other pilots.  Tell them to be ready, because we are picking them

up."

"Ok!  See you tomorrow!  Bye!"

"Bye."

"Bye.  And don't be late!"

 

The Next Day:

"I didn't have time to tell you yesterday that I had added something to your

Gundam Heero.  I would like to show you and the other pilots.  I can't show

you here.  I have a special place in mind."

They get into their Gundams, and head off.  They pick up the other pilots.

"This is the only place where I can show you."  They land at a base and exit

their Gundams.

A stern voice demanded,"Who are you?  Who are they?  What are you doing

here?"  They all turned around and faced an OZ soldier.

"You must be new.  Please tell Traze that his (in a sweet voice)darling

little Maria Hill is here.  They are my guests."  She points to the guys.

Her message is radioed in.  A moment later Traze comes bolting out the door,

his face is red."Maria, where have you been?!?  Who are they and what are the

Gund..."  He can't finish his sentence because the site of them shocks him.

"They are my friends, the Gundam pilots."

"But their are six Gundams, not five!?"

"Can't I have a Gundam too?"  She gives him a hug then says,"Is Zechs back

yet?"

"No, he's not.  You have a Gundam?  But how?"

"I made it, how else could I get one"

Duo:"What are they doing to the Gundams?!"

"Inspecting them.  Let's get something to eat, then we can rest."

 

Later:

*****

"Order what ever you want.  Chris?"  A man comes out of the kitchen."The

usual please."  They all order.  When their food is ready they bring it to

their rooms.

After the meal and some rest, they head outside."Get in your Gundams and

follow me.  Heero you will use mine and I will use yours.  When you are all

set up turn on your shields."

"Why?"

"If you don't want to get damaged, turn them on."

They head to a field that's about a mile away."Look out!!!" Maria yells.

Everyone turns around and sees a missel heading in their direction!
