| Relationships: Heero is traditionally paired with Relena as a romantic match, although Duo is usually his partner in Yaoi interpretations. In non-Yaoi, Duo is Heero's closest friend out of the Gundam Pilots. He sees Treize as his enemy, although Zechs even more so; they duel with each other countless times during the series, from the very first to the very last episodes. He has no known family except Dr. J and Adin Lowe (see next section). |
| Background: No one knows Heero Yuy's real name. His current alias comes from his Operation Meteor code name, which was taken from the peace-loving former leader of the colonies. He was raised in younger years by Adin Lowe, a professional assassin, who trained Heero in the art of killing (he only appears in the Episode Zero manga). After Adin was killed, Heero was taken in by the mysterious scientist and leader of the Gundam engineers, Dr. J, and trained under him for the rest of his life until Operation Meteor, when the show starts. |
