CHAPTER 1: DEMON OVERLORD
Mirror Century (M.C) 4845.
This was known as the dark era. Under the guidance of a self-proclaimed Demon Overlord, X, an army of androids attacked towns and cities one by one, capturing anyone in sight, even children and women were not spared. Humans captured by them were modified into biological weapons that could no longer be considered “Human” anymore. And by doing so, their forces get larger in size. Nobody could stop them and everyone was living in fear. Everybody thought that the world was going to end soon.
14th December 4845
The war was brought to an end on this fateful day. The castle of X was burning up in flames, broken androids were lying everywhere, chaotic shouts and screams filled the entire place. On the throne room of the castle stood X, and another 2 figures…
Black-haired Man: “Byakko! To think you would go against the organization. I shall hereby terminate your existence.”
X: “Well, well, isn’t it Genbu and Suzaku? Such pathetic existence…organization this, organization that. It seems that you cannot escape the chains that are binding you.”
Genbu: “Enough of your nonsense. Your words shall not change your fate. Die”
A fierce battle broke out between X and the 2 assassins, but even X was no match against the 2 strong opponents and soon fell to his knees. Just when Genbu was dealing the final blow against him, a dark eerie light enveloped the 2 of them.
Genbu: “Argh…”
Suzaku: “Genbu!!!”
X: “Hahahaha!!! If you think I shall be finished here you are wrong! Don’t forget that you are part of me! You are my CLONE!!! Hahahaha. I shall fuse my body with yours for my rebirth! You remain as a tool even till the end! Hahahahahahaha”
Genbu: “Arrrggghhhhhhhhhh!!!”
As the light fades away, standing in front of Suzaku was a man clad in dark armour. Without a doubt, his appearance still remains as Genbu, but his hair turned from black to gray and his eyes were shining with a red glow, just like X a moment ago. Suzaku tried calling out to him, but the dark knight suddenly went berserk and injured her with his scythe and when he was about to kill her, the castle started to collapse and debris fell on the 2 of them.
A few hours had passed. Rain was falling on the ruined castle and the sound of thunder pierced through the darkness. Standing among the debris was Genbu, with his hair and eyes turned back to black.
Genbu?: “Wh…who am I?”
Genbu?: “…………”
Genbu?: “I am…Eric…”
