In the year 4845, a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) known as 'The World' is released in the US and becomes insanely popular, spreading worldwide and reaching up to 20 million players. 'The World' is one with a setting of monsters, player characters and dungeons. Everything was usual as a normal game would be, and none would expect it to be more than a game for entertainment and passing of time until a mysterious phenomenon struck 'The World'...when monsters in the game become increasingly powerful and harbour otherwise unheard of abilities and players started entering a state of 'MONG' - having slit eyes, unable to pronounce words clearly, eat noodles and drinks blood daily and attacks people around them with their fingers. These victims' most outstanding similarity is that they started combing the same hairstyle. Vexed with this problem, the admin department, JAMES, has send one of their men, Lingxiang, to investigate this matter.
