I felt the discharge of energy before I even saw it.I knew that the Chosen Two had finally resurfaced. It was time to take them to a place where their work will be the most useful but first...

Taking a step forward from out behind the bleachers, I impaled the black staff I had in my hand into the grass. Blue light ripples spread on the ground and everything they touched dimmed then stopped. Time had ceased to be for everything except for myself and the two in the field. Walking closer, I examined both of them.

The girl had transformed into a wolf. Not just a normal wolf but a humanoid, black wolf with large, feathery white wings protruding from her back. Her body glowed with energy and her eyes flashed piercing gold as her teeth were peeled back in a murderous snarl at the girl cowering on the track.

The boy was also now a humanoid wolf but white in color and with the same large white wings of his companion. Energy radiated from him to but his eyes were ice blue and glared at the same girl that Tasha was snarling at. Scraps of green and white clothing hung from their now enlarged bodies, the still forms of the band members looking at them in wonder and fear.

"Both of you," I interrupted in a stern voice. Glancing up, they turned their attention from the frozen, scared girl, their looks changing from rage to confusion. "What's going on?" the boy asked.

"I will explain later. Tasha, will you follow me?"

She got a bewildered look. "Grandfather?" she asked softly. All I did was nod. "Yes. We cannot waste anymore time here. I cannot keep time frozen forever."

"I...what do you think, Will?"

The boy looked down then back up and only nodded. Tasha nodded also and turned to me. "We'll come with you but you know that people will hunt for us."

Nodding, I simply said, "It will be taken care of. Do not worry. Just follow me." I started to walk away and Will followed but Tasha stooped down to pick up something. "Come on Tasha!" Will said and carrying whatever she had jogged over to us. "What should we do now?" she asked me.

"Fly towards that star," I said, pointing. "And don't stop, no matter what." Fear was in their eyes but they simply took off to where I indicated, despite the fact they had never flown before, it was in their blood and I stopped to admire them. 'They are the key to each other's existence. It's incredible. Great Sky Chief, let me be able to show them the way,' I prayed silently. Focusing my powers, I opened a portal for them to leave this place and into another world where their powers and their love would save that world and their own.
