Third Place - Angst

Chapter Thirty-Six

When Harry reached the ground floor he could tell by the crowd in the hall that Breakfast had ended and the students were now making their way to class. Harry looked at one of the big Grandfather clocks and noticed through its long whiskers that he would only just make it to Care of Magical Creatures if he ran. No time for a shower or bite to eat. Not even time to grab his bookbag from Draco's room. He was sure that he could look off of Ron's book and Hagrid would give him a bit of slack about it. As Harry started his run down from the castle he wondered if Draco would be coming to class.

"'ow now, 'arry," Hagrid called out as Harry met up with the class as it began its walk to the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest. Harry gave a smile and wave and Hagrid went back to herding the students and warnings of not straying too far away from the group. Harry found his friends and were making his way to them when he was detained by Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson who blocked his way.

"Where's Draco, Potter?" Blaise asked.

"He said he wasn't feeling very well and said he might be along later," Harry lied smoothly before slipping away to his waiting friends.

"Hey, Harry," Ron greeted with a smile. "You alright? Missed you at breakfast and don't tell me why you missed it because I really do not want to know."

"We saved you a bit of muffin and an apple," Hermione said and passed the napkin wrapped items to Harry.

"Thanks. Sorry I'm late. I, um, got held up." The class made a half circle and Hagrid was beginning his lecture. "I'll tell you why in a bit," he whispered.

Hagrid described the proper way to handle and feed the Slepner Grouse and then presented the boxes holding one bird each. Harry, Ron and Hermione got one of the boxes and carefully opened it. Inside was a tiny normal looking brown bird.

"Alright, Ron, hand me the seed," Hermione instructed. Ron passed over the tiny pouch Hagrid had also provided and Hermione began to carefully feed the bird. One had to be careful around the Slepner Grouse, as its feathers were as sharp as glass but were the vital ingredient to many important potions. After the bird had finished its breakfast it began to sing a beautiful song and was soon accompanied by its fellows.

"Pretty," Harry remarked.

"Alright, Harry, while its singing its meal song, tell us what made you late," Hermione said. She and the boys sat down on the ground with the box in the middle of them.

"Hermione, I said I didn't want to know," Ron whined. But Hermione shushed him and looked expectantly at Harry.

"Right, okay, well, last night Draco and I didn't stay in his room," Harry began and realized that this was probably going to make Ron scream. "Instead we, uh, we went to Snape's room."

"What!" Ron screamed. Harry winced and Hermione hit him. They waited until the attention of the rest of the class had turned away before Harry continued.

"Yeah, Draco said that seeing us in the hallway had made him, um, aroused and that he wanted to see it again. Anyway, we uh, went to see him and the door was locked. I mean really locked and warded and hexed. But I opened it."

"Really?" Hermione's eyes glowed. "How, Harry?"

"Wandlessly. I just imagined it was open and it opened. Well, it wasn't that easy but after Draco threatened to walk away after working me up, I just couldn't have that door stay closed."

"Amazing. You performed visualization magic, Harry! That is really hard to do because it doesn't use a spell but the focused thought of the individual. That is simply amazing!" Hermione was flushed in excitement.

"But what did Snape do when you busted into his room?" Ron asked.

"Well, at first he was really angry but Draco said that he wanted it or I wanted it or something. I'm not sure; I was pretty far gone at that point. But then he seemed to give in and, um," Harry bit his lip and screwed up his face in apology to Ron's delicate sensibilities. "We, um, you know. Did it." Ron made a funny noise in the back of his throat but Hermione nearly squeaked in exclamation.

"You slept with Professor Snape?" she asked in an outraged whisper. Harry winced.

"Yeah. I, uh, did."

"With both of them?" she questioned further. Harry nodded.

"If it weren't for who the other two blokes with you were I'd give you a pat on the back, mate," Ron said. Hermione cast him a death glare and he snapped his lips shut. She turned her glare to Harry.

"How could you? We did all that we could to keep you apart and this is what you do? Run off behind our backs?" she yelled while still whispering which Harry wasn't sure how she accomplished so well.

He hung his head. "I'm sorry, Hermione. I really am. I wasn't thinking. All I could think about was that feeling of rightness. And then Snape made it so good and I just... just went with it. I'm sorry. And I'm really sorry that I can't say that I wouldn't do it over again because it was really good." Ron had a horrified look on his face and Harry grimaced. "Sorry."

Hermione drew a deep breath. "No, Harry. It's all right. Don't apologize." She reached across the singing grouse and patted his hand. "I was just, surprised, I guess. I had no right to get angry."

Harry looked up and gave a small smile. "Hey, if you had shagged Snape I'd yell at you too."

"I should hope so!"

"And Draco just let you do this? He's not the type to share the limelight," Ron said.

"No, but he really liked what he saw in the hall, the pervert. But, Snape wasn't happy with it this morning. That's why I was late." Harry hunkered down further in to relate the story. "I woke up to use the loo and when I came back Snape was awake and not happy. He told me to stay put and then drug Draco out of the bed."

"He drug him?" Hermione asked. Harry nodded.

"By the hair." Ron winced. "Then he held him up against the door and banged his head into it and started yelling at him about how Draco was selfish and stupid and that he may have cost Snape his job and reputation because he shagged two students."

"Snape said that? To Malfoy?" Ron was shocked.

"Yeah, but then he started to choke him and threw him across the room."

"Holy Cricket! He threw him?" Hermione asked with her hand at her throat. Harry nodded.

"I thought he was going to kill him but Snape told me not to move because he didn't want my smell to mess him up again. And then he came over to Draco and at first I thought Draco was going to fight back but he didn't. Instead he apologized."

"He actually apologized? You actually heard the words?" Ron asked incredulously.

"No, he didn't say it, he..." Harry looked at the two of them for a moment. "Do you remember that day when I ran from Draco and then I um, rubbed up against his leg?"

"He did that?" Hermione asked, shocked.

"Yeah, but Snape pushed him away and when he tried to do it again Snape pushed him away again. Finally Draco just went down on his belly and stayed there. Snape said that he was pathetic and then flooed out of there in a hurry."

Both of his friends sat with stunned looks on their faces. Mouths were hanging open and eyes big.

"Sweet Circe!" Ron was the first to recover. But Hermione wasn't far behind.

"Draco conceded to Snape? He actually became submissive to him?" Harry nodded. "Draco is not going to happy about that, I imagine."

"No, he wasn't," Harry said.

"Oh no! What did he do to you Harry?" Both of his friends became alarmed but he held up his hands in a calming gesture.

"Nothing. Well, at first I thought he was going to hit me, but he stopped himself. Then I thought he was going to, um, force himself on me. But he stopped when I asked him to. Then he just told me to get out. And I did." The other two visibly relaxed.

"'right, now its time ter pull 'em out and give em a bit of a fly," Hagrid's voice boomed out, startling the three Gryffindors. Hermione took charge and began handling the Grouse with special gloves. Harry watched and then realized that he was hungry. He opened the bundle Hermione had given him and began munching on the muffin. A movement caught his seeker's eyes and he looked out into the Forest. Suddenly he saw a figure appear and then disappear behind a tree. Narrowing his eyes he peered out to get a closer look and caught another movement further to the right and was able to track, for just a moment, another shadow.

"Professor Hagrid," Harry called out. The ground shook a bit as the half-giant made his way to Harry's group. "Wat's the matter. Is it givin' ya a bit o' trouble, then?"

"No, but I saw someone out in the forest," Harry said as he pointed in the direction he had seen the figures. "At least two of them, but I think there are more."

Hagrid put his hand over his eyes as he peered into the murky darkness for a moment. "Hmm, probly just the werewolves ya saw."

"Werewolves?" Ron gulped in alarm.

"Ah, nothin' ter be afraid of, Ron. There is a wee group of 'em out there. Poor blighters. No where else ter go." He looked down at Harry's napkin. "Probly smelled your snack, 'arry. I sometimes feed 'em a bit of the leftovers from the house-elves, so they may 'ave come pokin' about fer it. Nothin' ter worry about." Hagrid patted Ron on the shoulder and then walked over to another group's bird, which hadn't stopped singing yet.

Hermione put the small bird away after harvesting a few feathers and looked out into the forest. Harry was warily keeping an eye on the area where he had seen the shadows but nothing moved again.

"Don't worry, Harry. They won't come in too close with all these people and Hagrid about." She patted his shoulder in the same way Hagrid had done to Ron.

Class passed quickly after that. Soon they were in History of Magic and that allowed Harry's mind to wander. He wondered where Draco was. Did he go to his other class? Did he see Madame Pomfrey? Would Snape try to kill him again? Harry couldn't believe that Snape would renounce his godfathership of Draco like that. Harry had never seen Snape that furious and that was saying something. The fact that he had been furious at Draco, the pride and joy of Slytherin, was just insane. Harry wondered what would happen in Potions this afternoon. Would Draco be there?

By the time students were making their way to lunch, Harry was beginning to get anxious again. He wrung his hands and the back of his neck was sweaty. He didn't know what to do, but he desperately wanted to find Draco. Or Snape. No, not Snape. Harry had decided that even though it may have been good it was really wrong and that it should never ever be repeated. But he hoped he found Draco soon.

"Harry, have a toffee." Hermione handed him the sweet over the table. Harry immediately popped it in his mouth but it didn't take any of the edge off. He looked over at the Slytherin table. Where was Draco? Would he show up today? What if he had left school? Harry's anxiety went through the roof at that thought. Did Draco leave him? Would he do that? He couldn't blame Harry for what happened, could he? Harry hated himself. He should have allowed Draco to have him this morning! Now Draco was angry at his refusal and had surely left him!

"Harry! Calm down, your leg is about to bounce out of its socket!" Hermione's tone was sharp and got Harry's attention.

"I have to go find Draco!" Harry stood up and began climbing over the bench.

"Harry! Wait! You haven't eaten yet."

"Do you want us to come with you, mate?"

Harry shook his head distractedly. "No no, I'll be fine. I'm not hungry. I've just got to..." Harry pulled away and started to quickly leave the Great Hall. Once he was out of the double doors he decided to head to Draco's room to start the search there. If the blonde had left then Harry would know by the missing personal articles. If Draco had left...? Harry didn't want to think about that yet. He jogged to the room and opened the door.

Draco was lounging in the bed with a book in his hands. He looked up as the door opened and instantly his face became a mask of ice.

"What?" he asked with a surly voice. Harry came in and shut the door. He moved closer to the bed and wrung his hands fiercely.

"Draco, I..." Harry couldn't bring himself to say out loud what he wanted. Instead he began to show Draco. He slipped his robe off and began pulling at his tie. A pale hand grabbed the tie and drew him close to a silver gaze.

"You want me to fuck you, Harry?" Draco whispered with menace. "You want me?"

Harry nodded. "Yes, Draco."

"Me. Not anyone else? Just me?"

Again, Harry nodded furiously. "Yes, Draco." He paused a second and added, "Please."

Draco's face became visceral and he gave a sharp tug on the tie. He used it to drag Harry up onto the bed and towards the headboard. Harry's clothes were shredded as the vicious Slytherin ripped them off of him.

"Get on your knees and grab the headboard," Draco ordered as he ripped his own clothes off. Harry scrambled to comply. He took hold of the ornately carved headboard and helpfully spread his knees apart. Draco came up behind him and grabbed hold of Harry's hair drawing the head back to almost breaking. Imitating a vampire movie Harry had once seen, Draco hissed and bit down on the artery exposed. He bit so hard that Harry was sure that he would soon feel the heavy warmth of blood spilling down his chest. But the sensation was exquisite and he helplessly cried out in pleasure. A strong hand reached around and tugged at the hardened nubs on Harry's chest. He brutally twisted them and Harry begged for more.

"You'll get more, Harry," Draco rasped. "But only from me, do you understand?" Harry nodded and then cried out as Draco grabbed hold of his soft member and stroked it roughly to hardness.

"You should have told me about this, Harry." Draco inhaled deeply and purred in contentment. "Very bad of you to keep this secret hidden away."

"I didn't know, Draco," Harry cried out. "I'm sorry."

"Never mind," Draco murmured and continued his stroking. Harry desperately pushed his backside against Draco's hard length.

"Please, Draco, need you," Harry whined.

"Who do you need, Harry?" Draco whispered into his ear continuing his petting.

"You, Draco."

"Who is the one who will always fuck you, Harry?" came the whisper.

"You, Draco," Harry cried.

"Who will always have you and pleasure you, Harry?"

"You, Draco! Please, only you!" Tears fell from Harry's eyes as he screamed in frustration.

"Exactly. Only me!" With those viciously whispered words Draco surged inside, shoving Harry against the headboard. Harry cried out in ecstasy. He was filled completely and then, marvelously, Draco began his forceful thrusts. Harry used the headboard as counter-leverage to push back just as hard.

"That's it, Harry," Draco hissed between grunts, "Always a fast learner." Draco's hands gripped the headboard just outside of Harry's hands and used it to pull himself harder into Harry. The sounds of grunts, moans, cries and the rapid slapping rhythm of flesh coming together were the only noises in the room.

Draco released the headboard with one hand and used it to find Harry's cock again. He squeezed tight and it was all Harry needed to reach his release. Harry shouted out and his entire body shook in the grips of the climax. Draco inhaled deeply again and was that quickly following Harry into the abyss. Strong arms wrapped Harry and brought him up tight against a smooth chest. When they both finished quivering, Draco carried Harry along with him as he fell backwards onto the bed. Harry laid there, half on Draco, and felt his skin chill when a draft cooled his sweat slicked body. Draco grunted and pulled half of the bed covers over them and they fell into a satiated sleep.
