| Fae opens a gateway with her magic. You watch as the gateway opens, the air shimmering and then falling away as if melting. The elf leads you through the now open gateway. You find yourself in the heart of a dark forest. You can see the stars overhead through the branches of the trees. Mist lays heavly over the grassy ground, making it hard to see things, bluring the images. "The Keeper and guardian of the dragons, Wren, will be here in a minuet. You can just wait here." Fae says, with a smile, Then she leaves through the gateway, closing it after her. You look around for this Wren, wishing to see the dragons. After a few minuets of waiting, a shadow materializes out of the mist. You realize that it is a girl, her long brown hair pulled behind her. Her brown and blue clothing make it hard to distunish her from the dark forest. She strids up to you, smiling. "Hello!" she says in a musical voice. "Are you here to see the dragons?" you nod eagerly. "Great! We don't get many visitors here in the Mist Woods. Shall I show you around?" you nod again, and the girl grins from ear to ear. "Then follow me! I shall take you to the dragon's nests." She sets off back through the shifting mist, leaving you to follow, or become lost. You hurry after her, sturggling to keep up. You follow Wren through the woods. |

| Many times she turned abruptly, making sure that you would not be able to return without her again. After a time of walking, Wren leads you into a clearling that seemed to just pop out of the woods. Someone standing on the outside could not see through the thick trees that surrounded it. The clearing is clean and cozy, with many homly things about it. The ground is covered in the soft, green grass that blankets the forest floor. There are no signs of trees being pulled out of the ground. It was if the trees had been moved by magic. In the center sat two, thick nests. The nests were made out of leaves, grass, moss, and other soft things of the forest. Off to one side sat a small pile of toys and jewels. They were pilled unorganized, and you realize that they are toys. "Yuumei and Reimei are out for a flight right now, but I am sure they will be back soon." As if summoned by Wren's words, two dark shadows cover the ground. In a few seconds, two large dragons land a little ways away from you. One is black as night, with yellow tipping her horns and wings, and her underbelly. The other dragon is a softer shade of blue with paler yellow for the tips and belly. "Bright Greetings, Wren. Who do you have here?" The blue male asks. "A human visitor. I will let you introduce yourselves." The blue steps forward, and smiles toothly at you. "My name is Yuumei, which means light and dark in Japanese. I am an adult dusk dragon." The black steps forward next. "And I am Reimei," The dark dragon says in a female voice. "Which means dawn in Japanese, which is quite fitting, since I am a dawn dragon." You comment on how it is amazing to have gotten a dawn and a dusk. "Oh, well," Wren begins" "the mist forest is perfect for a dawn and dusk. Both have the special ability to shape images out of mist, and they can even call mist into being. Mist always hangs heavly around here untill dawn, when it burns away, but then returns with dusk. Just outside of this clearing is a large hill. Its peek rises over the forest, giving a view of the whole woods, and all of the directions. Deborah, the two dragon's bondmate, flattened the top of the broad hill, so that you can stand upon it and watch the dawn and dusk come in." Wren pauses for a moment, and then grins at you. "Would you like to come with me? It is almost time for dawn to come. Every dawn and dusk, Yuumei, Reimei and I watch the dawn and dusk come in." You look to the dragons for permision, and they bow their heads. Wren smiles "Well, shall we go?" You nod. The dragons go on ahead, and you and Wren follow behind. Soon, you reach a large hill, it's peek rising over the trees, hidden by the bushy branches. A small path winds itself in a spirl around the hill, making it eaiser to climb the steep hights. You climb the spirl in silence, hurring after Wren. When you reach to top, your breath catches. You can see the whole woods from here! As you stand, you see the sun begin to rise. Golden rays of yellow, orange, red, pink, and so many other colors fills the air, staning the clouds. You watch as if under a spell, as the golden sun rises over the woods. With that, Wren turns to you, a small smile on her face. "Beautiful, was it not? I watch the sun rises and set every morning and night with the dragons. I am glad that you came to visit. I do hope that you will be able to come again." You nod, and tell Wren that you will. She smiles, and then leads you back down the hill..... |
