Raiden landed gracefully on the ground in front of Deborah's little cottage.  Deborah jumped gracefully off her bondmate's back, and gave him a little hug.

"Thanks for helping out today."  He smiled at her.

"Of course, any time."

"I'll go get Fae so she can make you a gateway back to your home."  But Raiden waved her off.

"That's all right.  I would rather take the long way home anyways."  And with that, and a wave, he lifted off into the air, accompanied by a huge gust of wind that send her hair flying in every which direction.  Deborah hurried inside to find her friend sitting at the table, looking over a few papers.  The elf looked up and smiled.

"How'd it go?"  Deborah dumped her pack onto the floor and took a seat across from Fae.
"Very well.  Several people expressed interest in selling their property.  Said they would think it over, and let me know.

"Good."  A pause, then:  "Did you go and visit the site yet?"

"Actually, no, I came to see if you wanted to go."  Fae said she would, and they went outside.  Fae opened a gateway with her magic to the nearest dragon's home.  Kemberance, a gold female air, met them as they came through.  Deborah told her bondmate what she planned to do, and the dragon insisted on coming along.

"I can help you out.  Kyriss and I are friends, and I would like to do something nice for her."  Deborah smiled, and consented.

They walked by foot through the forest, Kemberance being to big to fly then land in their chosen destination.  They walked for some time, inspecting the surrounding land that would soon be a dragon's territory.  Soon, they reached the center of the section in question.  There was a small clearing around a small river that flowed through it.

Not very far away, one could see the volcano.  A small, placid looking mountain, it wasn't even capped by snow.  Deborah looked about, tested the deepness of the river, it's current, and weather there was a good amount of fish living in it.  All checked out, and she had even spotted some smaller game while coming through the forest.

"Well," Deborah said, turning around to face her two companions, "Personally, I like" Her words were cut off  by a sudden trembling in the ground.  "Wha?"  The tremor became violent, and the ground lurched with a sudden force that sent the two-legged ones to their knees.  Kem remained standing, but only by sheer force of will.  Trees creaked and splintered around them, and a few began to topple.  The near by volcano shook, then a fissure opened up on it's side.  Steam and strange smelling gases emerged from the crack, quickly followed by flowing red lava.

It moved quickly, racing down the mountainside with frightening speed, and it was headed straight towards them.  In one quick movement, Kemberance snatched up her bondmate and the elf, and launched herself in the air, breaking trees in her path like splinters.  Once they were safely above ground, Kemberance paused, strong wing beats holding them in place.

The three watched as the lava's flow slowed, but continued to advance.  Soon, it was cutting through the trees of Deborah's forest.  Those not torn down in it's immediate path were set on fire, and soon a blaze roared through most of the trees.  Kem began to fly away, leaving the burning forest behind.

She sniffed the air.  Smoke.  Which meant fire.  Her curiosity drew her towards the smell, wondering what could be burning.  She changed, and loped forward, wolf paws taking her farther than her human legs ever could.  As she ran, she glanced down at her leg.  It was whole and unharmed.  It had been so strange.

A huge blue dragon, wings so large that it seemed they would block out the world, had landed next to her.  He looked strangely worried.  In a few minuets, he was joined by a green dragon, with wings just as large as the blue.  They conversed for a moment, then the green looked down at her.  He asked something, but over the roar in her ears, she could not hear him.

He turned to the blue, and shook his head.  The blue made a gesture, his body language was full of determination, and a little anger.  Finally, the green nodded, and a strange emerald light surrounded him, and then, she noticed, her as well.  In a moment it was gone, and she felt her eyes drooping.  The green and blue dragons leapt into the air, their large wings taking them away.

When she had awoken, she found herself completely healed, as if it had never been.  She had tested her leg, and found it good as new.  Silently she thanked the two dragons, and set out.

That was when she had felt the movement.  It was like nothing she had ever felt before.  The earth itself moved, the ground shook, and trees fell.  Far off in the distance, she heard a strange noise, like something exploding.  The ground shook for a bit longer after the explosion, then settled.  A small column of smoke began to rise in the near distance, drawing out Yashas curiosity even more.  Without realizing it, she had started towards the thin trail of smoke, leading her like
a beacon
