| Fae opens a small gateway. When you step inside, you find yourself in the middle of a barren desert. "This is the Desert. Creatures that reside in the desert live here. Right now two creatures are living here: Felypti. A Felypti is a mix between a cat and Egypt. The enjoy hunting most of all, and often spend days out on a hunt. They live in caves dug out of the sand, which are reinforced by water and a special plant found only in the desert. The only thing that prevents them from speaking the common language is that they cannot form our strange human words with their mouths. They do have their own language, and communicate between each other with ease." "Right now, the male Felypti, Kal, and the female Felypti, Lyre, are the only two living on these desert plains. Lyre and Kal are mates, and soon may be having their first litter!" "Follow me, Kal and Lyre have just returned from a hunt so we should be able to see them. I will take you to their cave." You follow Fae a ways untill you come across a large hole in the ground. Sitting at the edge of the hole is a red cat creature. His left paws and tail tip are black. He looks up at you with bright yellow eyes. His yellow ears twitch, taking in every sound. What strikes you most is the black ankh on his back leg. The Felypti continues to stare at you with those unblinking eyes. You are startled as a second cat-like creature comes out of the hole. This one is very dark, and much more graceful and slender than Kal. Her body is black and has red patterns on her tail, legs and chest. Bright green eyes stare at you with curiosity. Lyre's ankh is dark red against her leg. "Well, we should go now, and leave these two alone...." |
