The Cave of Art
You follow Sara and Kemberance down the path that was marked, "Cave of Art." Sara skips along cheerfully, humming her silly tune, and Kemberance nearly flys with her ground eating strides, leaving you to hury after. The path to your chosen destination is dark and quiet. The tall trees block out most of the light. The little that does get through the thick mat of leaves overhead is weak, and flickers out soon. The air is quiet, as if even the other animals that would live here have hushed in awe or reverance.

After a short amount of walking down the soft path, you reach the end of the road. Before you towers a huge wall of rough, black stone. A large opening has been carved into the front of the wall. The enterance to the cave is very dark, darker than in the woods. Sara becons, and starts forward again. When you enter the cave, you can barly see your hand in front of your face. You hear a snap, feal the familar tingle of magic being used, and a brillant white light drives the darkness back.

"Now, the cave itself is a little ways down this tunnel. There are many natural twists and turns, so don't stray from us." Kemberance tells you. You ask why the other paths were not stoped up.

"Oh, well," Sara says, "Gold dragons love adventure and excitement, and the natural tunnels provide plenty of excitement. I have only been down a few, and Deborah a few more than me. Kem has been down countless numbers of them." Kemberance nods, clearly pleased with herself. You nod, and the three of you start down the tunnel.

"There are torches farther down, in the cave itself, but this tunnel was left lightless on purpose. Adds a bit of excitement, don't you think?" The dragon says winking at you. You agree. "Now, stay close to me. We don't want you to end up lost now do we?" She gives you another wink, and you continue down the tunnel. After walking for a few minuets in silence the tunnel ends, opening into a cave.

You gasp at the beauty of the place. The walls are not made out of the ugly black rock you can see behind you in the tunnel, but is made out of dark gold marble streaked with veins of silver and white. The marble is smooth, and has a glossy finish, that makes the colors sparkle. The walls themselves are encreadibly beautiful.

The next thing that draws your eyes is the celing. A good portion of the rock had been cut and, and in place of it was a beautiful slate of colored glass. The glass is of dark colors: purple, black, grey, brown, and blue. The whole thing was made up of hundreds of smaller pieces. Each piece has little flecks of crystals in them, making them sparkle, as if they were stars.

Finally, you tear your gaze away from the beautiful sight, and turns your eyes to the walls. Evenly spaced across the walls are dozens of beautiful paintings. They show a number of different things, but what most of them portray are dragons.

"We collected these paintings so that Kem could know what her breathren look like, for there are many different types of dragons, and we wished for her to know all she can about the other kinds." Sara lets you look at the painting for a time, and then, smiling, she leads you out of the cave, to chose your next destination...
