Fae opens a large gateway. She puts a hand on your arm to keep you from going in right away. You feel a slight tingle, indicating that Fae used some magic on you. Nodding, Fae lets you go. You wonder what she did. You peer inside the hole in the air. You can see nothing but darkness. You look back at Fae questionaly. She ushers you through the hole in the air. Swallowing your fear, you step through the gateway. It closes behind as soon as you are though. You sit in the darkness, afarid to move. After a few minuets, you work up enough courage to try to make your way through the eternal black. As you try to step, you gasp. You realize that you are in water! You tell yourself that Fae's magic must be keeping you alive. You swim through the black, not really in any perticular direction. After a few minutes of swiming, you see a light. You hurry twords it, and it seems to come twords you. After a few moments, you see the source of the light. Another elf. She swims twords you, holding a blue ball in one hand. The blue ball seems to be giving off the light. The elf makes much better time than you do, and reaches you quickly. She flotes in front of you, smiling.
"Hello!" the elf says. You are amazed that she can talk underwater. "A human! Well well! We don't get many visitors way down here in the sea. My name is Akina. I suppose you have come here to see the newest members of the Forest. Well, here, two Seal Dragons and two Sea Snakes live from Silver Valley Dragons. Later in these little ones lives, they may be chosen to be companions for other dragons. Come, I will show you where they are to live." The elf guides you along. As you swim, the darkness begins to recide. When it becomes light enought to see, Akina puts out the ball, and you swim by the increasing light. Soon, you reach a large bed of kelp. It seems to have been split into two sections. Akina touches your arm lightly, to get your attention. "This is where they shall live. Here, I will show you each of their homes..." |
