The idea for The Dark Angel came from an English assignment I got one day in eighth grade. We had to write a short story and there really where no other criteria. So I thought of all my favorite stories, and all my favorite video games. I took ideas from everywhere and began to write. I wrote and wrote, and couldn't seem to finish it, so I added a fight against Shifter, not quite a REAL ending, but close. Then the deadline came, and I turned it in. Still ideas for how to continue it jumped out at me, so I continued to write. Needless to say I didn�t get very far in the time I spent, but I continued to edit it. I tried to make it as original as I could. It was only a short while ago my friend mentioned a show called The Dark Angel that reminded her of my story. I had never heard of it, but my Drama teacher says that there are no REAL original ideas anymore, so I decided that the fact that it was similar was ok. I did my best to make it original, although it is possible that I failed. So that was how my writing of this story started.
The start for To Be Blessed was nothing really special. So there I was drawing away again like I always did in one class or another when I began to draw a interesting looking character. Because of her black hair and dark expression, I named her Freya. I then, had to choose a weapon for her, and swords are getting overdone, so she got a staff. While drawing, I drew five japanese symbols on it, all one character representations of one of the five elements of the japanses people. My friends started to look through my drawing book, and they wondered who she was, so I came up with a short bio on her, that bio lead to the creation of To Be Blessed.
As far as my story Seeing the Truth goes, it's creation was simple. I was playing a videogame, and one of the caracters had purple eyes, which I thought were cool. So I started to think about eyes, and eye color. Then, out of nowhere this idea pops into my head for a scifi story about a girl with special eyes. Then, I decided to give her powers to make it interesting, and so she was able to see the dead, and see through people. I gave her sort of like a 6th sense about anything eye related. From there slowly a plot formed in my head, who was she, what didn't she fully look like, how does she think? Then, I began to write and create a plot. All I wrote for a while was little things here and there. After a while I had enought ideas to start acualy writing it, and that is how Seeing the Truth was started.
La Salvadora�s start was very different. So here is how it started. There I was dying of boredom in math class, so I started to doodle, as I did on many occasions in that class. Then suddenly a girl was on my syllabus sheet. My friend leaned over and saw it, and added the cat ears. She drew them as she thought the ears in Chobits a manga by Clamp looked. Suddenly the picture was done. From that lone picture in math the story was born. Idea�s, characters, they all filled my head. My best friend who helped Delia become who she is, also offered many rough sketches for the story, Katalina was the main controbution. From her sketches I drew new ones, slowly creating characters. From the characters rose the plot, and suddenly a story line. To give her credit, Raevyn (aka Reggie and or Lady Silver as you may know her) was a great help. She helped La Salvadora grow into the story it is, and as you will all know to be.
