| With a name like "The Big Bang" you would think that there was some sort of huge explosion with a googloplex of atoms flying into to every direction, right? Well then you would highly mistaken. Instead of the BAM factor that many people think when they think of the Big Bang it is really more of a stretching out factor, kind of like a ever expanding balloon. Like the balloon the universe's matter isn't really "flying away" rather the balloon itself is creating more space, as the balloon expands it allows everything "space out". | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Before I start talking about the Big Bang Theory I think telling you what Cosmology is would be helpful because that is where the theory came from.. Cosmology by definition (from Wikipedia) is the study of the Universe in its totality, and by extension, humanity's place in it. So pretty much it is the study of universe with an emphasis on why and how we are here. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Before we start... | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Before we can just jump right into other aspects of this theory there are a few things we all need to be on the same page for. What could these "things" be you may ask, well if you hold on a minute I'll tell you. These things are, Matter, Dark Matter, and Dark energy. Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space...so that's like everything right? Wrong, wrong, wrong! Dark Matter is not matter (total crazy right). Dark Matter is hypothetical matter particles that are made of unknown substances. They don't emit of reflect enough electromagnetic radiation to be detected on there own. But we know that Dark Matter exsits because it effects visible matter like stars and galaxies. |
