The Great Hair Debate
                             Which Senshi has the best hair?  Find the answer here.

Sailor Mercury.  Mercury's hair is a nice color, I like the blue.  Her hair is a lot nicer in manga than anime, where it has sort of a...non-moving look.  In the first manga arc, it's really short, but then it begins to curve around her ears and looks nice.  There's not much variety to it since it's so short, so I'll give her a 6.5 out of 10.

Sailor Venus.  Venus' hair has great length.  I like the bow, but it gets old.  Can't she change her style once and a while?  It poofs out around her face at the end of her transformation and looks great.  She gets a 7.

Sailor Moon.  Odango atama!  Gotta love the 'meatballs'  Moon's hair is definitely the longest.  It has a bright sunny color, a little brighter than Venus', and a great platinum color when she's Serenity.  I like that every once and a while she's shown without the odango in.  Lately, I've been drawing her that way, with an enormous amount of hair.  The only time I've really intensely disliked her hair is at the end of her S transformation into Super Sailor Moon, when it's curled around her head...gak!  Because of the sheer amount of it, the great colors, and the occasional style change, she gets a 9.

Sailor Chibi-Moon.  Well, it's, uh, pink.  And really...poofy.  When she's Black Lady, her hair is great.  The rabbit-ear odango are cute, but a bit pointy.  I like it when it's down and really wavy.  7.5


Sailor Mars.  Love her hair! It's gorgeous and wavy, and the purple highlights are awesome.  It has volume without being overly enormous, and her bangs have a nice uplift.  8.5

Sailor Jupiter.  Another girl whose style never changes.  Her hair is actually beautiful, but I'm not overly fond of the little balls on the hair tie.  I like when there's little tendrils around the side of her face.  However, compared to the rainbow of colors of the others, hers is a bit bland.  6.78

Sailor Saturn. Saturn's hair is comparable to Mars' in color, but that's about it.  Her cut is pretty severe, but suits her very well.  I like her straight-cut bangs.  When her hair waves around her face it's pretty.  When she's Mistress Nine it's longer than even Moon's (which doesn't disprove my earlier statement because Nine is NOT a Senshi)  but sort of frightening...it strangles people, come on!  7.5

Sailor Uranus.  What can I say, her hair's great.  Very short, but much more...moving...than Mercury's in the sense it gets blown by the wind a lot.  I like the one wave that goes against all the others.  In the manga, her hair's almost as white at Serenity's, which is very cool.  8.5

Sailor Neptune.  Gorgeous!  Her hair is gorgeous!  I love it in the anime when her hair is in a ponytail.  I like it down in the manga, but there's always these weird sense that it should be longer.  Great waves, the bangs are wonderful.  9

Sailor Pluto.  Long and green!  Possibly ready to rival Moon's, what a feat.  I like the single odango, and the color.  8.5

it's a tie!
Hotohori and Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi, both receiving a 23!  (on a scale of 1-10, of course)
Their hair is SO GREAT!  Even when Tamahome's gets tragically chopped.  And Hotohori's is in one of those weird boxes he always has on his head.  Sorry, girls, but they've got you beat here.
