| DragonBall Z Captain Ginyu is the leader and, by far, the most powerful member of the Ginyu Force. Due to his body-switching ability, we do not know what his original body looks like but it is unlikely that the body we see in the Namek Saga is his original form. Ginyu arrives on Namek with the rest of his team with the aid of gathering the DragonBalls for Furiza. While the rest of the Ginyu Force deal with the Z Fighters, Ginyu takes the DragonBalls to Furizas spacecraft. Ginyu returns to the battlefield in time to see his men defeated by Goku. Ginyu spars a little bit with Goku but realises that he cannot beat the Saiya-jin. That's when Ginyu comes up with a cunning plan, firstly, Ginyu gravely injures himself then he uses his Change technique to switch bodies with Goku. Now in Gokus body, Ginyu leaves believing Goku to be no longer a threat. It takes time, however, for Ginyu to become uses to Gokus body and so cannot harness his full power. He has a hard time with Krillin and Gohan and is defeated by Vegeta. Ginyu tries to switch bodies with Vegeta but Goku gets in the way of the beam restoring both of them to normal. Ginyu then tries to switch with Vegeta again but Goku throws a frog in the way causing Ginyu to become trapped inside the frogs body. However, Ginyu breaks out when a voice translator (attached to him by Bulma, who didn't know who he was) allowed him to say the words to change bodies with Bulma. Ginyu, of course, cannot defeat anyone in Bulmas weak body and so tried to switch bodies with Piccolo. However, the frog Bulma is thrown in the way and Ginyu is trapped once more in the frog body. Ginyu lives out the remainder of his life in the frog body becoming a leader of a group of frogs and toads. |
