| DragonBall An unseen part of the Red Ribbon Army, Dr Gero became obsessed with Gokus strength after the armys destruction and worked for the remainder of his life trying to build an android capable of destroying him. DragonBall Z Gero built many androids including Androids 17 and 18 whom he kept locked away as he believed them to be unstable. After many years he built Androids 19 and 20 and implanted his brain intoo 20 in order to increase his life span. He also built Android 16 but it was dismissed as a failure and de-activated. He had to discontinue work on Android 21 (Cell) due to time constraints, however, he left his computer to continue his work, just in case he was ever needed. Android 20 calculated that he and Android 19 had the neccesssary power levels needed to defeat Goku especially with the abosrbtion devices on the palm of their hands which absorbed ki energy. However, he did not account for the Z Fighters training in preperation for their arrival (thanks to Mirai Trunks) or for the power of the Super Saiya-jin.(which was unknown to Gero as he could not observe Goku on Namek) After 19 was killed, 20 made his way. 17 and 18 activated 16 and before leaving killed Android 20. DragonBall GT Dr Gero and Dr Myuu team up in Hell to create Artifical 17 whos goal was to absorb Android 17 to become Super 17 with the goal of destroying Goku. Dr Gero and Myuu escape from Hell but Myuu and Super 17 turned on him and killed him once again. |
