| DragonBall Z As a teenage girl 18 was taken by Dr Gero and given cybernetic attachments making her Android 18, an android with the mission to destroy Goku. However, Android 18 and her twin brother 17 were considered unstable by Dr Gero and were shutdown. Years later when facing defeat by the Z Fighters, Dr Gero had no choice but to activate the Androids and 18 and 17 killed Gero after re-activation. 17 and 18 reactivated Android 16, defeated the Z Fighters and searched for Goku but this was put on hold when they were forced to run for their lives from Cell. 17 was absorbed and 18 would've been destroyed if Krillin had not developed feelings for her and so could not bring himself to use the Emergency Stop Controller. 18 was absorbed by Cell but was regurgitated fighting Super Saiya-jin 2 Gohan. Krillin tended to 18 for the remainder of the Cell Games and later the two get married and have a daughter, Marron. 18 entered the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai where she fought Mr Satan in the final but threw the match after negotiating a large bribe from the champion. 18 was killed when the Earth was destroyed by Buu but was later revived with the DragonBalls. As she had android technology grafted onto her body, 18 did not age but the eventual breakdown of her artifical implants would mean she would only live slightly longer than an average lifetime. DragonBall GT 18 makes a small impact in GT as she spends most of her time with her family. When Super 17 appears he kills Krillin and asks 18 to join him once more. 18 refuses and is also killed. She is brought back with the DragonBalls after Super 17 is defeated. |
