| Story Continued: Just as SuperCell prepares to fire his deadly blast, a beam of white light breaks in between SuperCell and Goku! (SuperCell) WHAT IS THAT?????? SuperCell looks in the direction of the strange beam and is completely lost in what he sees! He can only stand there with gaping eyes and a dropped jaw, motionless. Goku eventually wakes, shakes his head off a little, then immediately turns in the direction that SuperCell is facing and is equally astonished! (SuperCell) Wha… what is that? (Goku) Ah! It's INCREDIBLE! Across the battlefield, a mass of bright white light is seen. It looks similar to the sun rising over a distant mountain. Beams of light shoot from it on all sides. Look anywhere else and there is no light at all! This mass is the ONLY light seen ANYWHERE on earth! What's even more astonishing is that there is NO sound AT ALL. Inside this almost liquid glow is a dark figure that slowly starts to emerge! A figure starts to become clear now! We can see an arm! It's rippling with muscle and…appears to be covered in a thick WHITE fur! Almost like that of an SSj4 but it seems a bit longer and thicker! We next see that the SAME white fur is covering the chest in the style of an SSj4 saiyan. A tail appears from behind the dark figure and it too is covered with the SAME FUR! The head finally becomes visible but whoever this figure is, has his head turned down toward the ground so we can't see a face! We CAN however, see a head full of a white-gold color hair! It's a few inches longer than an SSj4's hair but its style seems a cross between SSj4 and an SSj's hair! After a short time and more of the plasma-white energy has dissipated, the being raises his head and the first thing anyone notices is HIS EYES!!!! They are ruby red in color! An almost sinister looking set of eyes that state only one thing………DEATH to anyone whom they gaze upon! (King Kai) WOW WHAT THA…………… It can't be! A mortal god has been born! –sighs as if he can't believe what he has just said but knows it has to be true- (Krililen) Gohan? Cell has finally done it! He's pushed Gohan beyond EVERYTHING! I don't know how to describe it other than calling him……… a Super Mystic! (Namek Hammer) ELDER!!! WHAT IS THAT????? (Elder) Calm down my child! It is nothing to fear! (Namek Seta) But…but its so POWERFUL and, and BRIGHT!!!!!! What can it be? (Elder) It is the thing that legends are made of! You see, there is an ancient legend that has coursed its way throughout the universe that one day; there will be a great evil that no mortal man can defeat! On that day of the darkest hour, the warrior of light shall appear and vanquish the evil once and for all, restoring the balance to the universe! Today my children, we have bared witness to this blessed event! Watch on for this is something that we are not soon to forget! (SuperCell) WHAT IS HE????? (Goku) Gohan? (Vegeta) Eh heheheha! (Goku) VEGETA!!!!! YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!!!!! (Vegeta) –unable to move due to the paralysis he received when his neck was broken- I KNEW IT!!!! KAKKAROT WAS NEVER THE RATICALLY EFFICIENT KILLING MACHINE FROM LEGEND!!!! If it hadn't of been for the Cell games, I wouldn't have believed it myself! KAKKAROT was never the true Legendary Supersaiyan! GOHAN IS!!!!!!!! (SuperCell) WHAT?????? THE TRUE SUPERSAIYAN????? But I thought Goku was the strongest being in the universe! It was he who destroyed my father! (Goku) Sorry –showing a smirk immense all his pain- I wasn't the one that destroyed Cell! It was Gohan! (SuperCell) No, its…it's…not possible!!! (Goku) Sorry friend! You've spent all this time fighting the wrong person, if your goal was revenge! Gohan stands silent! Only staring at SuperCell with those relentless, dark red eyes! (SuperCell) –in a reluctant voice- What is he? (Goku) I can't believe how powerful he is! (SuperCell) Well no matter! I will deal with him soon enough, but first; I shall deal with you Goku! My first priority is to destroy the one who destroyed my predecessor! (Goku) WHAT? (SuperCell) It's simple! I was programmed to destroy the one that destroyed Cell Goku looks up with a wide smile on his face as he learns the significance of this news. (Goku) So…………… you were after me only cause you THOUGHT I destroyed Cell, huh? Well let me enlighten you a bit! I wasn't the one who destroyed Cell! Gohan did! (SuperCell) Not this again! YOU LIE!!!! Gohan can't have such a power! (Goku) Is that so? Well why don't you turn around and take another glance at Gohan and ask yourself if he does or does not have the power………………TO DESTROY YOU!!!!!! (SuperCell) NO!!!!!! IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!!! SuperCell turns to face Gohan. He stares at Gohan for some time, searching for the power Goku described, and what SuperCell found, ……………was nothing! (SuperCell) MUAH HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!! Nice try Goku but I'm not falling for that one! (Goku) WHAT??? (SuperCell) Gohan is nothing! I can't believe that you, the greatest hero this world has ever known, would try to place his own son in the way of your demise! You are nothing more than a coward! (Goku) No! Something is not right! Can you not since Gohan's power? (SuperCell) Give it up Goku! Your son has no power! None that would concern me that is! (SSj5 Gohan) CELL!!!! (SuperCell) Ah! So he speaks at last! I'm sure you have heard the pitiful plea your father has offered me! It seems he wishes that I destroy you before I destroy him! I'm sure you are just as ashamed as I? (SSj5 Gohan) No!………I'm not! Why should I be when all he offers you is the truth? (SuperCell) WHAT??? (SSj5 Gohan) I DID destroy Cell! I was the one that put him down just as I will you! (SuperCell) That is impossible and you are starting to try my PATIENCE!!!! At that remark, Gohan cuts the distance between him and Cell in half only, it appears to everyone that he instantly appeared in that spot! No one could see Gohan move yet he traveled at least fifty meters! (SuperCell) AH!!!! HOW DID YOU DO THAT??? Oh I see! Your father must have taught you the instant transmission! For a second there, I thought Goku might have been right about you but I guess I shouldn't be so gullible! (SSj5 Gohan) –with a smile- What instant transmission? (SuperCell) –looking concerned- Why, the one you just used of course! (SSj5 Gohan) Sorry! That was all me! (SuperCell) NO!!!!! YOU CAN'T BE THAT FAST!!!!! (SSj5 Gohan) Sorry! I didn't know I wasn't supposed to move that fast. Should I slow down for you? (SuperCell) YOU COCKY LITTLE……… (SSj5 Gohan) Cocky little what? (SuperCell) GrrRRRRrRrrrRRrrRr……………NO MATTER!!!!!! You might be faster but you are still no match for my TRUE power, but you'll be the first to know of it Gohan! (Goku) TRUE POWER???? Ah man! I thought for sure that he had already shown his true power! Man! I have a bad feeling about this! As SuperCell's anger grows, so to does his power. In a fit of rage, he lunges toward Gohan with one knee lifted. (SuperCell) YOUR END COMES………………NOW!!! Just as he races into Gohan, ripples, like that on a body of water, radiate from the two. The two fighters are pulled in and disappear. The second they are gone, the darkness that has filled the earth's sky is lifted and people start to wake. The power that had been concentrated in the battlefield is finally released and given back to all of the living creatures on the planet. (Goku) Man. ………………… Where did they go? (Vegeta) Kakkarot! (Goku) Vegeta! You're still alive!!! (Vegeta) You ……… didn't think I would ……… let him get the best ……… of me? Tell me ……… is there any of those stupid beans around? (Goku) I don't know. Can you hold on long enough for us to get you some? (Vegeta) Uh huh huh huh huh! Of course, I can! What do you ……… take me for? (Goku) –thinking to himself- If somebody doesn't show up soon, he isn't going to make it. Meanwhile, on a far distant planet, the two fighters, SSj5 Gohan and SuperCell appear. The environment is exactly that of the one Goku and Vegeta trained in for several years prior to Cellulose's arrival. In fact, it's the exact same planet. SuperCell looks around and studies the surroundings while Gohan can only stare with a burning desire to destroy SuperCell. (SuperCell) Nice choice Gohan! The same planet that your father trained in? Very little life and its far enough away from earth to do it no harm! It's an excellent battleground! (SSj5 Gohan) So you've studied them quite closely, huh? (SuperCell) I watched their every move! Studied their every technique and attack! I have perfected myself far beyond my father! I think you will notice the difference in our fight! (SSj5 Gohan) It makes no difference! You will still die! (SuperCell) GrrRRrRRrrr ………… Muah ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! You have a funny since of humor. Just for that, I'll kill you slowly! (SSj5 Gohan) Don't count on it! Krililen has awakened and races toward the area of Goku and Vegeta. (Krililen) HEY GOKU!!!!! (Goku) KRILILIN!!!!!!!! I'm glad to see you! You wouldn't happen to have some sinzu beans now would you? (Krililen) I swung by Korin's tower before we came to watch the battle. If anything, I've learned to prepare for your battles! (Vegeta) I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD STOP JABBERING AND HAND ME A BEAN!!!!!!!!!!!! (Krililen) –half hysterical- GIVE THE MAN A BEAN GOKU!!!!!! Vegeta takes a couple of beans and chews them up. Almost instantly, his neck snaps straight and all of his wounds start to heal. Goku is almost reluctant to take the last bean but does so anyway. As soon as Goku is healed, he backs away from the others. (Krililen) Where are you going Goku? (Vegeta) Where do you think he is going? –half angered- He's going to watch the battle and leave us here to try and guess what's happening!!! (Goku) Sorry guys! This is a one-way trip with no passengers! Goku teleports away leaving the others dumbfounded at his statement. (Krililen) What did he mean one-way trip? Vegeta stares into the sky trembling, knowing exactly what is going to happen and cannot do anything to help. (SuperCell) Well Goku! So you decided to watch your son die? (Goku) Hardly!!! Gohan! Can I talk to you for a sec? That is, if it is all right with you CELL!!!! (SuperCell) Suit yourself! Goku approaches Gohan from behind. Gohan continues to stare at SuperCell with little regard for Goku's arrival. (SSj5 Gohan) You shouldn't have come here! It is too dangerous! (Goku) I know! I wont be long. (SSj5 Gohan) I cannot guarantee your safety here! (Goku) Well don't worry. I won't be around for too much longer! Just let me have the chance to watch my son fight, one last time! Please! Gohan looks over his shoulder with a bit of a shocked look on his eyes but soon returns his attention to Cell as he realizes the hidden meaning in Goku's words and yet, he has known the truth all along! (Goku) You better win this one Gohan! We are all counting on you and I know you will not let us down! Do me a favor! When you are finished here, be sure to hug your mom for me, ok? (SSj5 Gohan) Sure dad! SuperCell overhears their conversation but is confused by its true meaning. (SSj5 Gohan) I will! (Goku) You have made me very proud Gohan! Now use everything I've taught you to DESTROY CELL!!!!!! (SuperCell) NO ONE LEAVES HERE ALIVE EXCEPT ME!!!!!!!!!! SuperCell lunges toward Gohan! Gohan is able to react in time to block the attack but the shear force is more than Goku can handle and is in turn, knocked halfway around the planet before he is able to regain control. Gohan and Cell begin to trade blows as Goku watches from a-far. The eminse force of the attacks crushes the boulders and rocks on the surface of the planet. What was once a rocky outcropping is turned into a sand dune! Boulders are pulverized into sand instantly and the ground becomes liquefied. The sight more than amazes Goku! (Goku) I can't believe that such powers could exist! It will be even more impressive once I'm out of Gohan's way. I'm proud of you Gohan! You've become everything I hoped you would be and more. You've surpassed me in every way possible. Goku clutches his chest and is having trouble breathing. (SuperCell) MASSENKO HA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gohan dodges the blast and answers with one of his own but Cell stops the blast with one hand. (Goku) –starting to struggle- Man they are really tearing it up! I doubt this planet will survive this battle. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH The pain in Goku's chest is starting to overwhelm him. He begins to scream out in pain. The short skirmish between Cell and Gohan pauses for a second, as Gohan is able to throw Cell off of him. He then immediately turns his back on Cell and towards his father. (SuperCell) –puzzled- So you're giving up so soon? We barely got started! Don't feel too ashamed Gohan! You managed to put up more of a fight than your miserable father! Gohan does not acknowledge Cell. (Goku) - in a great deal of pain- I've ……… held back the pain for too long! Goku falls to one knee but manages to get back up. (Goku) NO!!! I will not die on my knees!!! (Gohan) –seemingly able to hear his father's voice- Father! (SuperCell) Don't feel too ashamed Gohan! You managed to put up more of a fight than your miserable father! A great silence surrounds Goku. It becomes to quiet that his own heart can be heard as it struggles to maintain rhythm. Then it strikes him! Page 10 |
