"Marren!" S'ron stopped dead as his green firelizard appeared right in front of him. The pile of books he was carrying swayed, but stayed in his arms. He stood a few minutes steadying them before turning to glare at his flit through his gold rimmed glasses. "What are you doing?" The green cheeped once and flew to his shoulder. As if on cue, Kayota and Celeste appeared. The white quickly claimed her masters other shoulder as golden Celeste landed on top of the books. S'ron sighed.
Sploth smirked from his position on his dragon couch. You should be glad. You've got three girls that can't stand to be more than two feet away from you.
S'ron set the pile of books on his desk and turned to glare at his lifemate. "They're over-dependant firelizards."
Sploth yawned. It doesn't sound as interesting when you say it that way.
The dragonrider smiled. "If you're tired you can go to sleep you know."
The bronze/white yawned again. I'm not going to fall asleep until I solve the one mystery that plagues my nights.
S'ron snickered. "And that is?"
Why you spend all your shardin' time in here reading books instead of out with the rest of humankind. The large dragon raised his head and looked directly at his rider.
S'ron smile faded. "What do you mean? I get out."
There was a party tonight. Weyrwoman Magika was visiting with a few of her friends. You could have went over and at least talked to some of the gold riders that came with her. Sploth stretched his neck and made himself more comfortable.
"And made a fool of myself in front of a whole new set of people." S'ron took his glasses off and laid on the dragon bed beside his lifemate. "I'm not good at meeting people. I don't know how to 'get' a girl."
Sploth smirked. Then let me.
"What?!?"
Flight Frenzy at the Healing Den. Now it's settled. I'm going.
"You're what?"
Creesath's flying. You know Melodia, don't you?
"Melodia?"
Sploth smiled and closed his eyes. Go to sleep S'ron. I'll work everything out in the morning. The dragon used his tail to shut the glow in the room.
S'ron was left in the dark, wondering what had just happened.
