Missing You

It's been four weeks since I say you last
My inner strength is fading fast
I miss your laugh, you chatting in the shower
Your nipping outside for a friend every hour
My heart has turned into a dull ache
Every thought of you causes another small break
No one else could possibly compare
But I am here and you are there
Every night when I lay in bed
There's one thought running through my head
As soon as I sleep, a day begins anew
And I will be a day closer to you
September is so far away
And fate has yet to make her play
I hope, though, I will hold you then
And some happy moths we will spend.
