A Dragon's Love
When darkness befalls the world
And the moon is in the sky
You have been in your home
So now it is time to fly.
You soar through the night air
With wings open wide
You follow your path
With the stars as your guide
You fly over the world
A world filled with hate
You are constantly searching
For your perfect Dragon-mate
You search through the sky
You search over the lands
You look for that one dragon
Who will take your hand
But out on the horizon
So foreboding and dark
You see white plumes of smoke
Floating upwards in arcs
You fly towards the smoke
And in the distance you see
A great silver dragon
Gliding over the beach
As you near the great dragon
His grace catches your eye
You see his sleek silver body
You let out a sigh
As you close in the distance
You call out for him
He turns his great head
And the stars begin to dim
You sound your mating call
He answers you back
You ponder his words
His love doesn't lack
He joins you in flight
You fly back to your cave
There he spends the night
And the rest of his days
You cuddle his neck
He cuddles you tight
You fall asleep in his embrace
So for all a good night
