  • The following is an example of my usage of special characters in a real life situation.

A long time ago, I got my first "real" job, at Target®. This was a big leap into what I perceived as the "real" world. Taking on my own responsibilities, making my own money, etc. I was a floor associate, I had a friend who worked there from Spain, his name was Pacó, so en español, he was asociado del piso. Eventually he went back to Spain as he had finished his foriegn exchange program. As a going away present we gave him a Furby. We all had a good laugh and were sure if he didn't go crazy on the flight home, we'd corrupt the whole of Spain, and drive them mad. (Last I heard, we did.. :) ). Eventually, we heard back from Pacó, he sent us each a small sum of money (12.00) in thanks for being his friends while he was in his country.

This story is partly true, and partly not.

    Hope you enjoyed it,

    Jon
