Solar Flare entered the office and kicked over a trash can in frustration. She couldn’t believe that after all her years of experience as a Dragon Knight, that she could be fooled by Surrogate’s impersonation of Grisly. Even if Grisly was new to the team, she still should have been able to tell the real thing from a psychopathic killer. She was surprised to turn around and see her clairvoyant leader, Pendragon standing in the doorway. She cocked her head and raised her eyebrows as if to demand what he wanted from her. But, before she could say anything he gave her a puzzled look that quickly turned into a smile, then he walked off. He sees everything a few seconds before it happens, which often makes it impossible to hold a conversation with him. Solar plops down her chair at her desk and lets out a little grunt. “He could at least tell me what I said.”
