| The Revenant Not all Vampire victims become Vampires themselves. Vampires need to kill and suck blood - from human or animal to survive. VAMPIRE Vampires must undergo a ritual of initiation into Vampirism. REVENANT (He who returns from the grave; undead) A Revenant is one to have been attacked by a Vampire, the blood taken, but not to the point of transformation. The Revenant dies from shock or eventual loss of blood and is laid to rest. His spirit appears to his kin and friends as a decomposing body; wondering around at night, searching for victims as if he were to be a Zombie. - Vampires and Revenants have the same method of attack: - A bite usually on the neck or in the area of the heart - A Revenant transforms all of his victims into other Revenants - A Vampire has the choice to transform a victim into a Vampire through initiation in a process of transformation - The victim is never bled to the point of death - Both taught to kill, search for a coffin, to travel across the world without raising suspicion and how to live a wealthy life - A Vampire is sophisticated which permits him to high society circles and his skills at killing, without being caught, allow him to live for centuries - A Revenant lacks sophistication and kills anyone and anything in the open and is most likely to be caught and killed. - A Vampires body doesn't decompose and looks natural; A Revenants body decomposes, making him look hideious and in monster form. |
