Discus
Discus are member of the family Cichidad they are native to the amazon river basin of South Ameriaca. They are one of the most beautiful tropical friesh water fish with different bright colour and almost perfectly round shape, flattened, and average about 5-6 inches in lenght at maturity. Discus are name the Queen of aquarium. Beside being one of the most beauty fish, Discus also known as one of the most loyal fish, when a pair are form it is hard to break the bonding between them. If something happend to one of the mate the other will never pair up again. They also known as a mother loving fish.
Because the beauty and hard to keept in quarium (pet shop ower have to do extra work to take care for them) discus become one of the most expensive tropical freshwater fish. The price can cost betweent 30-50 dollars for a baby (2in) for adult (6in) it cost between 400-500 dollars for a good breeding pair.

The most popular food for discus are brine shrimp, heart, daphia, mosquito larvae, blood worms....also momercal food that found at the pet store.
Breeding discus:
Just like angels fish, discus can be breed in aquarium, a 30-50 gallons is a perfect size for breed discus. Just like other fish, when a pair is form, it will chose thier teratory and chase the rest away. A flat surfaces place at 45 degree angel is perfect place for discus lay thier eggs. Spawning usually take place in late afernoon of at night and it may take hours. The muber of eggs laid defends largerly on the age and condition of the female, with a prime female being capavble of laying as many as 200-300 eggs. It took between 24-32 hrs for the eggs to hatch pedening of the water temperatures. during their time as wrigglers they live on the food stored in their yolksacs. when a fry wriggle frees the fry will come after the parents bodies and graze contentedly from their slime. The pair will take turn to nurse their baby. when the fries are about 10-15 days old you can move them to thier owns tank (I used 10 gallons thank with air stone) and stare to feed them with newly hatch brine shrime or scremmy food use for newly born fry that you can found at the pet stores.
