Blizzard
Action: Attack (Channeled)
Range: Medium
Effect: The character causes an area within a Short range burst to fill with blinding snow and swirling icy shards. Any creatures within the area suffer a Moxie based 16 damage Water attack at the beginning of the character's action each round. In addition, anyone within the Blizzard suffers a -2 penalty on Perception checks and a -4m penalty to movement speed. Any attacks made into or out of the Blizzard, besides the Blizzard itself, suffer a -2 penalty to Accuracy.
Chilling Mist
Action: Move
Range: Medium
Effect: The character creatures a cloud of thick mist that is up to 20m by 20m. The mist can either be opaque or transparent, at the character's choice. All water-based abilities with a duration do not count any rounds spent in the mist against their duration (expect for the mist itself). All fire based attacks made originating in or targeted into the mist suffer a -2 penalty to damage. The Chilling Mist lasts for 5 rounds.
Drench
Action: Attack
Range: Short
Effect: Blasting the target with water, the character disrupts any fire-based attacks. The character makes a Moxie-based +4 Accuracy 20 damage Water attack against the target. No wounds are dealt, but the target suffers a -1 penalty to Accuracy with all fire damage attacks for 3 rounds for each wound that would have been dealt. If at least one wound would have been dealt, and fire effected the character is currently benefitting from are removed, and any fire channeled abilities are interrupted. Drench can also be used on an ally to grant him a +2 bonus to damage with all Water attacks for one round. A creature cannot benefit from Drench more than once a round.
Drown
Requirements: Any 3 other Aquamancy abilities
Action: Full (Channeled)
Range: Short
Effect: One of the most powerful Aquamancy abilities, the character fills his target's lungs with water causing him to drown. As long as the effect is channeled, the target is unable to speak or use any channeled effects, and suffers a -2 penalty on all rolls. As long as the character channels the effect, he may make a Moxie-based +2 Accuracy 16 Water damage attack against the target at the beginning of each round. Each round that Drown is channeled, it gains a +1 bonus to damage.
Deep Freeze
Action: Attack
Range: Short or Medium
Effect: By battering him with icy winds and freezing mositure in the area around him, the character can freeze his targets in place. This ability can either be used against all targets within Short range, or one target at Medium range. The character makes a Moxie-based +2 Accuracy 22 damage Water attack that deals no wounds, and instead reduces the target's base speed by -2m per wound that would be dealt. If reduced to 0 speed, the character cannot move. The penalty lasts five rounds, or until the target spends a Full action to break free and succeeds at a Strength Check TN 10 + character's moxie. Any fire attacks against the trapped target immediately removes the Deep Freeze effect. If used multiple times, the penalties stack and the duration is refreshed to 5 rounds.
Ice Sheets
Action: Attack
Range: Medium
Effect: The character conjures up long sheets of ice that can be used to cover the ground or create a wall, and 10 2m by 2m blocks of ice are created through either method. If used to slick the ground any creature attempted to walk through this space must make an Agility check TN 10 + character's elan or fall prone. If used to create a barrier, the ice has a defense of 0, a base soak of 8, and -8 fire resistance. It can suffer 10 wounds before shattering.
Shatter
Requirements: Deep Freeze or Ice Sheets
Action: Attack
Range: Medium
Effect: The character can make nearby ice shatter in deadly shards. All creatures within Short range of the object suffer a Moxie-based +2 Accuracy 20 damage Water attack. The character gains an additional +2 bonus to Accuracy against any target effected by Deep Freeze, although Shatter immediately removes the Deep Freeze effect.
Tidal Wave
Action: Attack
Range: Short
Effect: The character hits all targets within a Short range cone in front of him with a burst of pushing water. The character makes a Moxie-based 18 damage Water attack. In addition to dealing damage, targets are pushed back 2m per each wound dealt. If a character is knocked back more than 6m, he is also forced prone.
Water Spout
Action: Attack
Range: Short
Effect: With a blast of pressurized water, the target is knocked to the ground. The character makes a Moxie-based +2 Accuracy 18 damage Water attack against one target. If at least one wound is dealt, the target suffers a Trip attempt, with the character using his Moxie instead of his Strength. In exchange for a -2 penalty to damage, the character can change the attack from single target and turn it into a 2m burst.
