Racial Abilities

Drog'nithlo
Effect: The character gains a +2 bonus to earth resistance, but suffers a -2 penalty to air resistance. In addition, the character has claws that can be used as if they were an 18 Damage Earth and Life melee weapon. If both claws are used, the character gains a +2 bonus to accuracy as if he was fighting with two weapons. These claws gain a +4 damage against rocks, stone, and similar materials, and can be used to burrow through dirt at one-fourth the character's normal speed.

Elf (Darkness-Scarred)
Effect: The character gains a +2 bonus to death resistance. In addition, the character causes others to become uneasy. In combat, all opponents gain a -1 penalty to Accuracy against the character unless the character has previous made them the target of at least one ability during the combat.

Flemareza'ket
Effect: The character gains a +2 bonus to fire resistance, but suffers a -2 penalty to water resistance. In addition, the character gains a +2m bonus to movement speed, and has natural claws that can be used as if they were an 18 Damage Fire and Life melee weapon. If both claws are used, the character gains a +2 bonus to accuracy, as if he was fighting with two weapons.

Otubudak
Effect: The character can swim at his base movement speed and breathe underwater. In addition, the character gains a +2 bonus to water resistance, but suffers a -2 penalty to fire resistance. Otubudak also receive a +2 bonus on all Acrobatic checks.

Tengaradu
Effect: The character is able to fly at his base movement speed, but suffers a -2 penalty to Accuracy with ranged attacks while flying. In addition, the character gains a +2 bonus to air resistance, but suffers a -2 penalty to earth resistance.

Devotion Abilities

Raspar's Fury
Requirements: At least once Pyromancy ability
Action: Free
Range: Self
Effect: Infused with the power of Raspar, the character enhances his fire attacks at the cost of his own health. The character can choose to deal wounds to himself, gaining a +1 bonus to damage with his next fire-damage attack in exchange for each wound dealt.

Galad's Shield
Requirements: At least one Terramancy ability

Range: Short
Effect: With the help of Galad, the character can protect one of his allies from harm. Any wounds inflicted to that ally during the next round are instead suffered by the character. For each wound transfered, the character gains a +1 bonus to damage during his next round.

Sapphie's Fortune
Requirements: At least one Areomancy ability
Action: Passive
Range: Self
Effect: Sapphie's followers are able to ignore forces that would stop their march toward freedom. The character ignores any effect that would slow his movement, be it from an Ability or natural terrain, unless he is the cause of the effect.

Cyriss's Eye
Requirements: At least one Vitomacy ability
Action: Full
Range: Short
Effect: Using Cyriss's knowledge, the character peers into his target's soul. The character makes a Moxie-based +4 Accuracy 20 Damage Life attack against the target. This attack deals no wounds, instead, if the target would suffer at least one wound, the character knows which of the target's resistances has the lowest value, and can use any attack that deals Life damage to instead deal damage of that type against the target for a number of rounds equal to the wounds that would have been dealt.

Gulak's Touch
Requirements: At least one Necromancy ability
Action: Full
Range: Long
Effect: Letting Gulak's energies flow through his body, the character extends the duration of all effects with a duration caused by an ability that dealt Death damage by one round. This ability targets everyone within range, and always works on both beneficial and negative effects.

Organizational and Other Abilities

Hue Metamorphisis
Requirements: Character must have access to the knowledge of the Hue Mage rituals, and a dragon from which to absorb his power.
Action: Passive
Range: Self
Effect: Taking upon aspects of a dragon, the character gains a +2 bonus to Resistance to his chosen dragon's affinity element, and a -2 penalty to Soak to the opposite element. If the affinity element is already his highest resistance, and the opposite element his lowest, he may instead lower these penalties to +1 and -1. The character gains a +1 bonus to Damage when using attacks of the affinity element, a -1 penalty to Damage when using attacks of the opposite element, and a +4 bonus to Lore checks involving dragons.

Strength Against Scale
Requirements: Training from Scale Slayers
Action: Passive
Range: Self
Effect: A secret technique taught by Scale Slayers, Strength Against Scale allows the character to toughen out attacks by any elementally focused creature. Whenever the character takes at least one Wound of damage from an attack, he gains a +2 bonus to Resistance against whatever element that attack was attuned to. Strength Against Scale lasts for five minutes, or until the character takes damage from another attack.
