Terramancy Abilities

Avalanche
Action: Attack
Range: Short
Effect: Creating a rolling mass of rock and dirt, the character bowls over his enemies. Avalanche creatures a 10m wide line of crushing rock. All creatures within the area are effected by a Moxie based +2 Accuracy 16 Damage Earth attack. Targets can choose to flow with the Avalanche and move 10m away from the character. If they do so, they gain a +2 bonus to Soak against the attack.

Blasting Pummel
Action: Attack
Range: Medium
Effect: Taking control of the ground beneath his target's feet, the character causes the earth to erupt in a minor explosion, dazing his foe. The character makes a Moxie based -2 Accuracy 22 Damage Earth attack against the target. If at least one wound is dealt, the target moves at half speed for one round. The character can instead choose to affect a 8m burst, but doing so causes him to suffer an additional -2 Accuracy penalty.

Earthen Hammer
Requirements:
Action: Free
Effect: The character conjures up a magical hammer of stone that he can wield in melee. Earthen Hammer is a -2 accuracy, 20 damage weapon that deals Earth damage. Using Earthen Hammer in two hands gives the character a +2 bonus to damage. The character may make Strength based or Moxie based attacks with Earthen Hammer, and treats it as a normal weapon. If the Earten Hammer deals wounds to a creature, the creature suffers a -1 penalty to all soak rolls for a number of rounds equal to the wounds dealt. If the creature suffers multiple attacks, the duration is cumulative but the penalty is not. If the Earthen Hammer leaves the character's grasp, it immediately crumbles to dust.

Earthen Grasp
Action: Attack
Range: Long
Effect: A rocky hand juts from the ground, attempting to grapple one target. The hand immediately attempts to grapple the target, with an Agility equal to the character's Elan and a Strength equal to the character's Moxie. The hand persists until the target successfully breaks the grapple or becomes the attacker in the grapple, causing the hand to immediately crumble to dust.

Earthquake
Action: Attack
Range: Medium
Effect: A shockwave rips through the earth, damaging all creatures standing on or within 2m of the ground except for the character. If used as a Line, the attack is an Moxie-based -2 accuracy 20 damage Earth attack. If used as a burst centered on the character, the accuracy penalty is increased to -4.

Manipulate Earth
Requirements: At least 3 other Terramancy abilities
Action: Attack
Range: Medium
Effect: One of the most powerful Terramancy abilities, Manipulate Earth allows the character to harden, weaken, or shape rock, dirt, sand, and stone. Up to 36 square meters can be softened, causing all creatures to move in the area to do so at half speed, or be hardened, causing all creature who were in mud, sand, or similiar, to be stuck and unable to move until they succeed at a Strength check TN 10 + character's Moxie. Up to 8 cubic meters of rock can be shaped with a single Attack action.

Shockwave
Requirements: Earthquake
Effect: The character gains further mastery over his Earthquake ability. Anyone damaged by Earthquake suffers a trip attempt with the character's Moxie being used instead of his Strength. In addition, the character can choose to have his Earthquake ability deal no damage to creatures (although he may choose to have it still trip them), and gain a +10 damage bonus against structures.

Stone Form
Action: Move (Channeled)
Range: Self
Effect: Shifting his body to stone, the character becomes exceptional powerful at the cost of speed. The character gains a +3 bonus to Strength, a +2 bonus to Earth resistance, and can make unarmed attacks that deal Earth damage, but suffers a -2 penalty to Agility. He also gains a +4 bonus on all rolls to resist Trips, Grapples, or any similiar effect that would attempt to move him, and becomes immune to abilities that rely upon a living body such as through poison or bleeding.

Stone Shards
Action: Attack
Range: Short
Effect: The character holds out his hands and sends out a blast of sharpened stones. The character makes a Moxie-based 20 damage Earth attack. The attack can be either single-target, or a cone.

Sterength of the Earth
Requirements: At least one other Terramancy ability
Action: Passive
Range: Free
Effect: A terramancer's might is the might of the earth. When using any Moxie-based Terramancy ability, the character may instead choose to have it be Strength-based.
