Angela Swallows was born in the suburbs of Los Angeles, and was raised in a small town in the California desert. Her parents, a Spanish architect and an American writer, still reside in the California desert. After high school, Angela went on to study theatre, at the Institute for Conscious Acting in La Verne, California. Her heart was set on becoming an actress, but she was handicapped by her own self-judgement. Angela didn't believe that she fit in the category of Hollywood's "beauties." This feeling of inadequacy led Angela down the path of alcohol. After two years of drinking, Angela realized that she shouldn't try to fit in and be accepted, because she was unique. Angela left the bottle on her own will and took up studies in theatre once more. During her theatre studies, Angela focused on political theatre. She still performs to the present day, believing that her craft can expose politics for what they are. Angela performs demonstrations at rallies and fight for what she believes in. Angela Swallows has proven time and time again that expression is best achieved when it is performed from the heart. And if there is one thing that Angela has it's a big heart. Angela support the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life every year. When it comes to helping others, Angela is always there. Angela Swallows is a talented, caring, supportive woman who believes in freedom and supports it fully. That is Angela! |
