Hence forth are my thoughts on various films. I won't go into too much detail, and I'll try my best to leave out spoilers. Ratings are done on a star scale, five being the best.
The Shining - starring Jack Nicholson *****
I thought this film had good direction and nice elements of terror and suspense.
Dracula - starring Bela Lugosi *****
This film was very dramatic, theatric, and overall well done. Five stars!
The Exorcist - *****
This movie is a classic. One of my all time favorites.
The Matrix - starring Keanu Reeves *****
Very well done. I love movies that make you think and don't just hand you the story on a silver platter.
The Lord of the Rings; entire trilogy - starring Elijah Wood *****
Excellent visual effects and great acting. Beautiful music too!
Constantine - starring Keanu Reeves *****
This was such a cool movie! Although parts of it reminded me of the exorcist, I still loved it.
Van Helsing - starring Hugh Jackman ****
Overall, this movie was ok. There was a little too much computer generation going on though, and I often had the feeling I was watching a video game.
The Ring - starring Naomi Watts ****
This movie really didn't do it for me, and I'm not big on the overall plot. Semi good visuals though.
Photographing Faeries - ****
I'm going to have to go look to see who starred in this, at the moment I can't remember his name. Great visuals and I loved the story!
The Village - starring Joaquin Phoenix ****
I loved this movie, though the ending surprised me. To say any more would spoil the plot. Four stars for suspense.
