James Name: James (Andy) Anderson Species:Human Gender: Male Height: 5' 9" Age: 16 Place of Birth: Moose Jaw, North American Commonwealth Position/ Social Status: Private 1st Class 940208 NACDUNIS, Candidate Disciplines: Light-weight assault weapons, some hand-to-hand combat Description: James Anderson is among the youngest to serve in the military, though he doesn't look it. Although he hasn't finished growing, he's a good height, and a healthy weight. His dusty brown hair is trimmed close to his head, as is regulation, and his grey-green eyes often show his determination and stubborn personality. A scar crosses his left cheek, marring his otherwise unextraordinary face in a reminder of a childhood accident. Andy, as he is usually called, is always in either slacks (for common activities) or uniform (combat or formal). A look into his personal cubby would reveal a pile of neatly folded, identical suits, not a bright, unmatched colour among them. Personality and History: Andy was brought up in a family with a long military history. His grandfather managed to achieve Major General status before he passed away, and his father is currently a Captain. His mother... well, Andy was never sure just what his mother does for a living, though he knows that she contributes to the UNIS and is damn proud of it. Her rank has never been discussed while he was in ear-shot. Andy is fairly conservative, and he doesn't go out of his way to gloat or put people down (even though he's often proven himself better at certain things). He'd willingly put his life on the line to protect the few people he trusts, namely his family and his quad (the third of the squad he works with most often). For all that he's a soldier boy, he isn't a machine. When he's out with his friends he enjoys having a drink or two, joking, sometimes a little rough-housing, but all is in good fun. When it comes to drills and manouvers, though, he's all business. Much to his trepidition, he's found that he has a hard time talking to or socializing with women unless they work directly with him. It's something that really bothers him, but he's not sure what to do about it... and it doesn't help that his buddies often bug him about it. When James was selected from a number of applicants to join the 32I-4P Expedition, he was rather surprised and a little excited. This was, after all, his first forray into the real world where he could put his training to use. He had heard that the Avengaean Portal was an active zone of conflict, but little more, and now he's going to be able to experience it first hand.
