HOW I STARTED
I've always wanted to build a website, ever since I first got an inernet connection. My first "website" was actually a bunch of dumb files on my computer, all mismatched and totally dumb. Nothing worth remember. I remember something called Teacher Feature, that had info on a bunch of imaginary teachers, since I had no visitors to actually TELL me about their teachers. A few laters, I discovered the wonderful program Microsoft Frontpage on my computer and got creating. I had quite a few, but none of them actually made it online. About 3 years ago, I discovered bravenet, and finally got one of my websites online. I didn't like it much, so I left it there. My first succesful site on the web was called Millenium Evil, a site dedicated to the bad guys on Yu-Gi-Oh. Next up was Sennen Ring, my Bakura shrine (which is still up.) and after that was Inuyasha Metamorphosis, my Inuyasha site that lasted ALMOST a year before going down. I would revive it if I only had Microsoft Frontpage on this computer. Then in the summer, I started this place on one of my Neopet's petpages under the old title, Evils Misstress's Little Home. If any of you reading this saw the original version of this site, I pity you so bad. It was so disorganized. Eventually I realised I couldn't add the link to my friend's site on my page, because Neopets doesn't allow linking out. So she suggested I move my page over to geocites. I agreed, and the pitiful excuse for a site moved over here. And the old layout stayed, until I had the decency to make the half decent past layout and create some order. Eventually I decided the old layout wasn't doing it for me, and I could make some better stuff than that on the Avatar Maker at animegalleries.net. Thus, this new Ren site was born. I've come a LONG way from teacherfeature.txt believe me. And I believe this is proof of that.
MY ANIME OBSESSION
I am guilty of an anime obsession. I like most of the animes played out here in Canada. (with the exception of Dragonball/Z/GT and Hamtaro) Other shows that I'm just as obsessed with are Danny Phantom, a show about 14 year old Danny Fenton, who is half boy and half ghost and all cutie pie! *cough* I said nothing... And also Radio Free Roscoe, which is about 4 kids who start their own radio station.
THE LINKIN PARK OBSESSION If there's one thing almost every person who knows I listen to Linkin Park has asked me, it's "why?" These are usually the people who have no respect for the wonderful music that Linkin Park makes, but moving on. As much as I really wouldn't like to admit it, I have to tell you, I really have some problems. And here's an interesting fact: insanity actually runs in my family. But honestly, I think it might me manic-depression in my case. Linkin Park music really gets through to how I feel when I'm in my depressed moods, and seriously the songs keep me from doing something stupid. In all honesty, Linkin Park is keeping me here, behind the computer screen, walking around, ranting about how much Harry Potter bugs me. If I could meet them, I would thank them for keeping me from doing something stupid. I owe these guys a lot.
