| 1. Human beings throughout history have searched and prayed to some sort or higher religous being. In this section we are given solid examples that help to contradict our challenges to Faith. The Readings Book give us knowledge through the natural world, via the human person, and through Jesus and the Gospel of Luke. | ||||||||||||||
| 2.a. The first major section is about Jesus and how so often we look pass his human aspect and focus on his God like qualities. Jesus is perceived as a radical back in his day, as he we against popular teaching and the scribes, etc. and hung around with the poor and the lowest of low to spread his word. He came to fulfill the Old Testaments not to break it. Jesus can be seen throughout Luke preforming miracles and showing his very most human self. b. The second major theme I want to remember is the watch and the watch maker story. This is a story about how if a person found a watch in the woods they would know it was made by an intelligent creator. This is one of the most famous theological arguments as the story shows that the intricate design of the universe must have a great creator. c. The third and final theme I want to remember is the idea of the Golden Ratio as a proof of God's existence. The Golden Ratio is an irrational number that the Greeks discovered and can be found in things such as flowers petals and other natural bodies. This idea helps to support the exsistence of global designer or a God throughout the natural world. |

| One question that I have is in what other ways does Jesus show his human nature and where can I find these examples? | ||||||||||||||
| I think to make myself a better person from this section I can focus on the proofs of God and not the challenges to my Faith. I can also read the Bible more to see in what other Gospel accounts or what other stories Jesus shows his true human nature. | ||||||||||||||
