This is a photo of the Norman Bates house from PSYCHO. I took this photo in early 1990 in California. The lot was just being prepared for the filming of PSYCHO 4. I thought it was appropriate to include as Gus Van Sant's re-make of PSYCHO was released last year. I wanted to capture an unsettling and moody feel to the mansion although the photo was taken just shortly afternoon. |

There is not much artistic merit in this shot, it just brings a smile to my face. I like it simply because I got that kitten to sit still for one second. There is very little touch up on this photo, just some computer enhancement in the cast shadow area. |
