Mrs. Richardson entered my life when I was five years old. Terrified of strangers, one day I randomly walked up to her and asked if I could go home with her. Since that day she and I have been close friends. When I first heard of her cancer I cried. And when I heard of her death I creid. I was working at Horizons Day Camp at the time. Though I was tempted to stay home that day I coudl hear Mrs. Richardson's voice telling me nto to mourn her, that there were 150 children depending on me. I went to camp that day with a heavy heart. The most poignant image of that day was the flag in front fo the main building at half staff in her honor. Mrs. Richardson, You will be missed! |

Check out a document that I had nothgin to do with but captures the essence of Mrs. Richardson. This is a booklet published by the Aloha Foundation about the memorial weekend held in honor of Mrs. Richardson and another invidual, Bob Love. Give it a glance..it's very interesting, quite moving if you know the two people. (Ps. you need Acrobat Reader for it) |
