His interest extends to his love for literature and poetry which provides scope for abhinaya out of the conventional, a repertoire. This interest has led to an abiding flair with choreography that is most suited for a male dancer. Gifted with a pleasing stage presence and a face that communicates easily, his performances display a sensitive feel for the poetry. He has partnered some of the leading exponents of Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi such as Smt. Swapna Sundari, Smt. Hema Malini, Smt. Pratibha Prahlad and Smt. Uma Rao. His notable performances include the Khajuraho Nritya Samaroh (1996), National Centre for Performing Arts(Mumbai), India International Centre, Taj Mahotsav, Nishagandhi Festival, Hampi Festival, Tamil Nadu Tourism festival at Mahabalipuram, Karavali Festival, Sharad Vaibhav, Eka-Aneka, Narada Gana Sabha and performances in major cities of U.S.A, Canada,  Australia, Bangladesh,Dubai and Singapore. He has performed for Bangalore and Chennai Doordarshan kendras. ( Television Channels) His programs were telecast on the National network program of dance and he is a “top grade” artiste of the Prasar Bharathi, Govt. Of India.He is am an empanelled artist of  Indian Council for Cultural Relations.  He  was a recepient of Junior fellowship from the dept of Culture, Ministry of HRD, Govt, of India. He has  completed the proficiency exam  in Bharathantyam conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Board.  He has been invited to seminars on art to speak on issues in dance. He has  been a  part of Sanskrit and Kannada theatre and has acted in TV serials and movies. He  works as a Community Health Specialist in Bangalore
