I'm from the eastern part of India , situated in South East Asia,  born on 1st August 1965 in an undivided family. Myself is a Physics graduate from the University of Calcutta, West Bengal in the year 1986. I did my post-graduation in the same  discipline from Indian Institute of Technology, Kgaragpur,WB in the year 1988 and performed my M.S. studies in Physical Sciences from Birla Institute of Science and Technology (BITS), Pilani , Rajasthan in the subsequent years. Formal education was completed with a Ph.D. degree in the year 1994 while working with Dr. B. K. Das, a well known metallurgist  in National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. 

    Presently I am working as an Scientific Officer in the Materials Science Division (Particle Irradiation Facility Section) of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research.
