Comments On This Week's Charts
Very short comments this week as I am publishing the charts a week late.  Celine finally overtakes the top spot from Erasure.  This is Celine's first number one on my chart and a track truly worthy of checking out!

As predicted here last week, Tori Amos takes over the longevity champ award, but also earns biggest faller award too.  If the song falls off next week (and I already know if it does!), it would mean that Nick Carter would probably hold the title by himself as Cyndi Lauper's latest is about to fall off as well.

B-sides seem to be doing really well this week as there are two currently charting.  Holly Vallance makes this week's biggest move, up 12 spots to number 8.  Ok, that's all for this week.

New On The Charts This Week
11
If You're Not The One
Daniel Beddingfield
Following the number 2 peak of Gotta Get Through This and the number 12 peak of James Dean (I Wanna Know) is the third single from Daniel.  This one, however, is a ballad.  And a very good ballad at that.  Definitely worth checking out!

14
Show Me Love 2002
Robin S.
I discovered this one on the lower ends of the UK charts last week and downloaded it.  Really good remix of one of my favorite dance songs of the 90's.  This was released back during my junior high years (I know, I'm Young!) and this along with Haddaway's What Is Love? still remain some of my favorites from that era in my life.  It seemed that my junior high years (93-95) was when a lot of GREAT dance music came out in the ways of Robin S., Haddaway, Corona, and of course Real McCoy.  Anyway, go check out this very piano-based remix, or go get the orignal and relive those mid-90's days with me!

C'est La Vie
(B-Side to
I'm Gonna Getcha Good)

Shania Twain
The UK version of her latest single has two of her album tracks as B-sides.  As I have been listening to the album a lot lately, there would be no doubt that the album tracks would chart for me.  The pop version of this song is just great pop with a bit of country influence in it as well.  Get her new album, you WON'T be sorry!

18
Drowning
Crazytown
When I first listened to this track, it really did nothing for me.  Which would have been a shame, seeing as it is the follow up to their big number one track Butterfly.  After a few listenings and seeing the video though, it started to click.  I still think some of the spoken parts of this song should have been done in a actual tempo (if you are confused by that .. just ask me), but the chorus makes up for it.  Just a good rock song!

29
Original Sin
Elton John
It's been almost a year now since Sir John has made it to the top 5 with the first single from his latest album, I Want Love.  The third single finally makes it on thanks to a GREAT remix by Junior Vasquez.  This one is definitely worth checking out!

31
Girlfriend
Alicia Keys
More than a year ago now when Key's album was first released, I wanted this song to be a single.  I knew it would do well on first listen.  Unfortunately the people at J records disagreed with me!  This is now a single FINALLY in the UK, but released far too late to make any major impact.  The same will probably be true for my charts, but you never know!

37
Love Will Come Through
Travis
I'm pretty sure this is the 3rd or 4th single from Travis this year, following Side, Flowers In The Window , and another one if I am forgetting it.  Good track as usual from the bad and worth checking out!
