Comments On This Week's Charts
I FINALLY got around to downloading some music this week, and thanks to my friend Craig I also managed to get a few more tracks as well.  These won't show up until next week's charts though (I can already hear two top 10 debuts next week).  In the meantime, Erasure easily spend a second week at number one with their latest.  This one should be number one for a few weeks, unless there is something that comes along and just blindsides  me!

Kelly Rowland makes short work of getting to the number two spot this week, as her latest shoots up nine spots to the runner-up position.  The track has just grown on me with every listen.  I'm sure it won't hit number one, but number two is much better than her DC bandmate has done this year.  Right behind her is Celine and Nick Carter.  Nick has been slowly moving up the charts for awhile and finally makes his peak this week (I doubt the song will get any higher).  Celine's latest keeps growing on me and might just be number two next week??

Dirty Vegas continue to hold on as Ghosts racks up it's 17th week on the charts.  If the song can manage to last one more week, it will tie X-Press 2's record of 18 weeks on the chart.  Come back next week to see if that will happen.

This week's biggest mover is Moby.  Extreme Ways never really caught on with me, but his third single from his latest album is great!  Yeah, it's not really anything new from Moby, but it's still a great track!  Madonna might not "Die Another Day", but her day is coming as her latest is this week's biggest faller.

New On The Charts This Week
23
The Other Side
David Gray
A very simple piano/vocal combo from Gray, who just released his latest album.  If you are a fan of slow moody songs, this one is for you!

25
London
Pet Shop Boys
The third single this year from PSB, as Home And Dry hit number 11 and I Get Along made top 30.  This one has taken some time, but it's has really grown on me, this could eventually, if lucky, be their second top 20 hit of the year.

Music Gets
The Best Of Me
Sophie Ellis-Bextor
FINALLY!  Sohpie follow's up her number one hit from early this year.  She briefly bubbled under with the B-side to her second single, but couldn't get onto the charts.  Her latest is a piece of pure fun disco.  Very good song, co-written by ex-New Radical Gregg Alexander (who has been writing songs for Ronan Keating among other British popsters!).

33
The Flame
Eyra Gail
I never got a chance to hear her version of Heaven, but by the sounds of her latest, I'm sure that it was a good cover.  This is, of course, a cover of the Cheap Trick song that went to number one here in the states in the 1988.  Good dance song, worth checking out.

39
Breathe Your Name
Sixpence None The Richer
After bubbling under for WEEKS, Sixpence have finally got back on the charts.  In 1999, they hit the top spot for three weeks with their first hit, Kiss Me.  This one isn't quite as catchy, but good nonetheless.

40
Through The Rain
Mariah Carey
It's kinda hard to believe, but even 3 years ago, Mariah was still unstopable, with everything she released going to number one here in the states.  This one is really a good song, but won't get anywhere because of her stigma as a crazy lady!  Too bad too!
