Comments On This Week's Charts
Although I didn't download any music this week, I still managed to have 8 debuts and a reentry on my charts, causing a very hectic week.  After 5 weeks atop the charts, Jakatta feat. Seal finally slip out of the top spot to allow room for the best band in the world (I'm totally serious) to debut at number one.  Erasure is back!!!!! (I will get more into that later)

LeAnn Rimes manages to reenter the charts this week, besting her previous high of number 32.  I really like this song and am trying to get into it, but I fear I won't be able to.  She already has a new song being serviced to US radio, so when I download that, it will probably mean the end for her current song .. but oh well "Life Goes On"  (Me soooo funny!)

Cher continues to rise up the charts thanks to the Almighty mix of The Music's No Good Without You.  I really don't know if this one is going to keep going up, but only time will tell on that one.  Speaking of rising up the chart, Kelly Rowland makes this week's biggest move, shooting up 19 spots to number 11.  This one has finally started to click with me and could very easily be in the top 10 next week.

After a pretty impressive chart run, Remind Me is finally sputtering out.  This week it earns biggest faller honors by moving back 17 spots to number 35.  This one might log in another week or two, but its heyday is over.  Well, seeing as this charts is a little late, I will hold off for the comments for now.  Have a good week!

New On The Charts This Week
01
Solsbury Hill
Erasure
Yes indeed, Erasure are back!!!  Solsbury Hill is the lead-off single from their new covers album, aptly titled Other People's Songs.  This one was originally done by Peter Gabriel, although I do not know it at all.  This would have debuted last week, but all I had to go off of it was a clip of the song.  Thanks to Craig, I now have the whole song and LOVE it.  It is soooo early 90's E style.  Anyone who is even the slightest E fan, should check this one out.  Look for one of the single's b-sides, Tell It To Me, to debut as early as next week.

13
Cafe Del Mar
Energy 52
This one is another "British Dance Instrumental" in the same lines as 4 Strings.  It is a good song and I love the chord progression, but I don't think it will last on my charts.  Could be wrong though.

16
I'm With You
Avril Lavigne
FINALLY!  Avril really makes an impact on my charts.  I have known about this song for ages, but knew not to listen to it too much.  I had a feeling it was going to be the third single, so when I read on Radio & Records that it was going for adds, I knew I was smart about holding off listening to it.  This track is really beautiful and lends itself nicely to Avril's voice.  Definitely worth checking out.

17
Empires
Lamya
I have had this song for AGES, since I first saw it on BB's Dance Chart.  The original version is a very odd song, but one that has really grown on me.  I finally got around to charting it this week.  Definitely worth checking out!

21
In This World
Moby
Another gospel treat from the Mob-ster!  Good track, although his UK success has really dimished with each single he has released.  I really like this track though, good job Moby!

24
Sunlight
DJ Sammy feat. Carisma
The follow up to the BRILLIANT "Heaven", this one isn't quite as catchy, but a great dance track with a trance vibe nonetheless.  Definitely worth checking out!

27
Surrender
Laura Pausini
The first English single from this Italian artist really reminds me of another Laura, Lara Fabian.  Definitely worth checking out if not already done so!

31
Like I Love You
Justin Timberlake
Finally this one has caught on with me.  I hated it at first, but lately have finally been giving the track a chance.  You have to know this one, so there is no doubt that you have already checked it out!
