| Comments: The big news this week is probably still what it was last week. "It's Your Life" has now been on top for seven weeks. There really isn't much competition right now, so this one could easily spend another couple of weeks atop the charts. The only real competition I see is from the Sugababes, who move past the first Madonna hit this week. There is a small chance it could be number one in a few weeks. For the second week in a row, Erasure have the week's top debut. The first of two brand new b-sides is a downtempo tune that sounds very modern. I am only charting this one on a clip I have, but I know that once I hear the whole thing, I will love it. Their new single, a reiusse of their classic, "Oh L'amour," is out on Monday in the UK. GO BUY IT!!! The only other debut this week comes from No Doubt. "It's My Life" is a cover of an early 80's new wave hit .. by ... I can't remember. Anyway, it's a good track and is from No Dobut's new hits collection. Becky Baeling and Macy Gray earn biggest mover and faller awards, respectively. Ok, time's up for now. Life is busy this week (and every week!!!). That's all for this week ... until next week .... |
