| Comments: Becky maintains her dominance of the charts, but just barely. Dance act Ultrabeat deubts at number three this week with "Pretty Green Eyes." This is europop at it's finest! This very well may be number one next week. Actually, the four songs on top right now are very close. Any of them could be number one next week. Other debuts this week come from BT, Fabulous, and Javine, who are all making their chart debuts. Rap very rarely makes it onto my charts, but Tamia's addition to Fabulous's song really helps it alot. Frou Frou makes their second chart appearance this week. Their first chart appearance was with "Breathe In." Aurora bounces back in a big way to take biggest mover honors, going from 40 to 26. Tori Amos makes the plunge this week, dropping 15 to number 28. This song has had a long chartlife though, with 18 weeks. A lot of songs this year have had long chart lives. PSB are on week 22, Kelly Clarkson is on 17, The Bangles are on 20, and Madonna is on week 18 as well. Of course Coldplay as them all beat with 32 weeks! Ok, time's up for now. That's all for this week ... until next week .... |
