| Comments: We have a first this week. Becky Baeling is the first artist in chart history to occupy the top two positions. Last year The Doves held spots two and three, and earlier this year Erasure held spots one and three, but for the first time one person has my two favorite songs. The reason for this ... I didn't discover Becky until her second single, "Getaway," and now am enjoying her first single, "If You Love Me," and her first pop single, a cover of Belinda Carslile's "Heaven Is A Place On Earth." She should continue her domination for the next few weeks. Nick Lachey is this week's biggest mover, jumping up 28 spots to number four. The Foo Fighters make this week's biggest fall, moving back 16 spots to number 38. Coldplay have now tied Faith Hill's record for longest chart run. If Clocks can hold on for week 31, they will have the record all to their own, though "This Kiss" did spend all of it's chartlife in the top 20. Ok, time's up for now. That's all for this week ... until next week .... |
