Comments:

As I am currently a few weeks behind on my charts, I will keep these comments rather brief (or try to at least).

Things are starting to warm up on my charts for the year, though outside at the moment it's bitterly cold!  Gary Jules holds on to number one for a third week, as Girls Aloud, Outkast, Jessica Simpson, and Madonna all hold on behind her waiting for a chance to jump to the number one spot.  Madonna has been stuck at number 6 for the past three weeks.  If she fails to make the top 5 with this song, it will be the first cut from her "American Life" album not to make the top 5.  "Die Another Day" and "American Life" each hit number 5, "Nothing Fails" hit number 4, and "Nobody Knows Me," (which is this weeks biggest faller) and "Hollywood" both hit number 3.  (So much for brief comments!)

Rap artist Bubba Sparxxx has this week's highest debut.  I have heard of this song for a while, but finally got my mits on it the other day and LOVE it.  Great songs are great songs regardless of their genre.  The only other debut this week comes from Holly Vallance.  "State of Mind" sat on the Bubbling Under chart FOREVER and has finally made it to my charts.  There are a few songs on this BU chart that have been there for ages, some of them I have no intention of ever charting, but others really are truly "bubbling under."  Only time will tell which ones make it on.  Finally this week, John Mayer makes this week's biggest mover.  I have heard his new single "Clarity" and love it, but will hold off on charting it til I get a copy of it and until I get sick of his first single.
