Working as Associate Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry, G.B.Pant Hospital, New Delhi, India. It is a 410-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital attached to Maulana Azad Medical College (University of Delhi).- Patient Care: Working as a supervisor and consultant in a psychiatric team comprising of 1 junior resident (PG), 1junior resident (Non-PG), 1 senior resident and paramedical staff. Attending 40 (including 6 new) adult outpatients (General Psychiatric OPD)/week, 10 (including 2 new) adolescent outpatients (Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic)/week, adult inpatients, consultation-liaison service and emergency service.
- Academic Activities: Training undergraduates (MBBS), postgraduates (MD & DNB), junior residents (Non-PG),M. A. psychology students, M. Sc. occupational therapy students and nursing students in psychiatry (clinical, theoretical and research). - 13.04.1996-21.01.1998: Worked as Specialist (Psychiatry) at Bokaro General Hospital, Bokaro Steel City, India. It is a multi-specialty hospital catering to an industrial township. Attended General Psychiatry OPD, IPD (30-bed), Child & Adolescent psychiatry Clinic, consultation-liaison service & emergency service as a supervisor and consultant.
