Class Notes on Assessment
Introduction
I hope that through this course you know that one teacher can truly make a difference.  Now how do you make sure all students are getting what you are presenting? How do you truly begin? Assessment.  Assessment should be used to figure out where a program is, where a teacher is and where a child is.  Then you are able to plan a program to fulfill all needs.  Use assessment in a variety of ways to ensure that all students are able to express their true knowledge.

Now I could complete an entire year on assessment. I would love to teach you a variety of techniques and have you test them out on your students until the techniques become second nature.  The key to ensure that all students succeed is a variety of testing methods and the use of authentic assessment.
