The Prudential employs teleconsultants to note customer enquiries and complaints for pension provision.  Internal quality audit of current methods in operation  with a company can identify failure of best practice and highlight operational challenges not resolved by current protocol employed by the teleconsultants.  A continuous improvement culture can be developed to provide up to date customer servicing in a competitive marketplace.  In addition, by monitoring performance internally, operations can be corrected before external audit, this leads to a more effective audit approach to audit approval. 

Barclay International

Construction of a company wide database to allow the processing of international monetary payments using SWIFT third party intermediaries

The transfer of foreign currency between countries may have governmental restrictions imposed thus there is a need to utilize third party intermediaries.  The development of a company wide database can provide the information needed to use the most effective and least costly intermediary.  By development of a regime of selected intermediaries used by all the branch network more favoured trading terms can be negotiated.  Furthermore, back office resources can be more effectively used as a population of experienced intermediaries are employed that are familiar with Barclay International transfer protocol.
