NES Game Reviews
A bad, repitious game with hot, man on mech action.
That title makes you think the game is going to be a totally rad to the max experience complete with plenty of bitchin' exploding buildings and exploding everything else, doesn't it? Well, you'd be wrong becuase buildings aren't interactive in this game. And, there's also the fact that this game really sucks. What explosions there are are wussy (I determine whether or not something is good by how many explosions are in it. That's why Mission: Impossible 2 and XXX are my favorite movies). When you start the game it says, "Level 1". Now, if there's a way to get past said "Level 1", I'd like to know what it is. I have honest to God played this game for at least an hour (a victim of free time) trying to make some progress. And I have yet to make any. I haven't died any, I just haven't been making any progress. I've been walking my killbot through the same places over and over again, killing the same enemies, and nothing has happened. I've even gotten my little guy out of the mech (ala Blaster Master. You know, that much better game) and walked him around for awhile, trying to find a ladder or anything, and finally returning to my mech to walk and kill some more.
The graphics, with the exception of the background, enemies, and everything but your mech are lame. The sound is okay.
Mech: "Sir, are you trying to seduce me?"
You'll learn to love these buildings, because there are 40 million more exact duplicates of them.
