Background
Dr. Andaya attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she was a member of the National Honor Society of Psychology.  She graduated with honors and went on to obtain her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology in Honolulu.  She continued her graduate work at Argosy University and achieved her doctorate degree after completing a one-year predoctoral internship in California working in the forensic population of a state hospital.  She then completed a year-long fellowship at Kapiolani Child Protection Center where she worked with children and families involved in abuse and neglect.

In addition to specialized training in the forensic field, Dr. Andaya has also been certified in the administration of the Hare Psychopathy Checklist and in Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT).  Dr. Andaya has also had previous experience in behavioral management while working with individuals diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral problems.
